What's sad is that Target secretly pays TODAY as well as other news networks to run this as "News" but it's basically an advertisement for the company. This is not news worthy and it's shameless TODAY. Also, Target is so overpriced and is just price gouging its customers. Please don't go there so they will learn their lesson on how to not exploit its customers.

Our neighborhood Target remodeled and upgraded to a high end looking store a while ago. I felt that their prices got higher then. With inflation, they became even more. I am glad to hear lowering prices even a little

This is just ridiculous, now that consumers are fed-up and have stopped spending their money in your store, you realise that you went too far.

The media and big retailers are working together; they set whatever expectations the big retailers want them to set. Once you hear it 5 or 10 times on different outlets, you start to accept it as fact.

Stay away from any greedy, dishonest corporation like this. They started something, and we are going to finish it

I was in target this a.m. and I didn't see any price changes. NONE! Usually you see prices with orange tags and signs saying it's discounted. NOPE. Not at my target.

So…in other words…we were price gouging and didn’t get away with it.

Discounts on the already high prices. That is a drop in the bucket for them. They aren't doing us any favors either bc all the other prices on on other items are rediculous too.

I went to Target today. I found the same overpriced junk. Target CEO should try to shop at Target once, he will be disgusted by quality and price.

The packages are probably half the size. I got tired of Target and will not go back.

I'll give it a chance ... as soon as the price changes hit Target, I'll do my normal shopping and compare the final total bill to my usual, and see how much difference there is. No reason to think this is anything more than an attempt to bring in shoppers, so why not check it out.

Clipping the digital coupons at Kroger family stores and Walmart are about the best ways to go. Wish there was an Aldi's around here

I only shop at Amazon. My days of Target and Walmart including every other place and malls are officially over. I haven't been in a mall ever since the pandemic started and I don't ever wanna go back. What's the point? You can have everything delivered to your house! We don't even eat out anymore! And it's no wonder the 99 cents store completely went out of business. People were robbing them left and right! HELLZ NO. I'd rather get everything delivered to my house. I can even do my doctors appointments from my own bedroom!🤣🤣
