The original American Gladiators version of Viper was also a mean Gladiator like the UK Gladiators version of Viper but the original AG Viper didn't shove or try to hit the contenders, he acted like a big crybaby every time he loses and the audience holds signs about him needs a diaper.

We need more range from viper and for him to actually do well in some events. He's terrible at gauntlet but the current version is harder for the gladiators. Don't mind the theatrics. It's pantomime stuff just like legends segments but it adds character

Is it just me or did Viper lose a little too quickly the second time around? Watching this episode, more than once I felt the showrunners were throwing that rather timid contestant a bone. During the elevated grid game he was matched against the one gladiator who's afraid of heights. Seemed sus to me.

Why they trying to make him act like wolf 😂 theses new cast are bad

Every version of Gladiators has their own Wolf, but they usually seem to miss what made Wolf work - it wasn't JUST about being the bad guy. Wolf could still back up his claims and there were a couple of times when even he could admit he'd been outplayed.

Viper is becoming the next version of Wolf from the original Gladiators Series because he was a jerk.

If Viper was any good at the games his antics would be funny, but because he's the easiest to beat it comes off as a bit pathetic really. Trying to be Wolf, but Wolf could back up his actions while he can't. Went off there with a tap on the shoulder and a missed second hit, free ten points for the contender, while the other contender has to face Giant, really stood no chance. Not got a lot of fitness, but I'd take Viper on if that is how he goes down.

Viper is not the new Wolf. Legend is.

Viper is rubbish. I was watching the Gauntlet from the 90's, it was far far tougher than the new one, it was near impossible. Practically everyone has defeated the new gauntlet.

It’s obvious the producers wanted at least one of the modern gladiators to be this generation’s Wolf. If they picked Viper to be this, it’s no wonder.

That referee is far to passive and saying no hard feelings afterwards. Wolf would never dare push John Anderson around like that. John Anderson was the boss of the show.😊

What happened viper knocked the contestant off and got a warning by the referee then the next battle viper loses so he gets really angry shoved the referee and loses the battle what a sore loser congratulations ash
