The EASIEST Format for New Players - Starter Deck Duel | MTG Arena Beginner Guide

what happens if I win twice with the same deck? Do i get extra copies of the cards?
Like i used the red/green deck with a phoenyx card but it only has 1 copy.
Can I win again with it for a 2nd copy of that deck (or the cards I have less than 4 copies of)?

Wizards of the coast is a very interesting company.They make a better card game than konami,balance it better make better decisions however they are argueably more scummy than konami

As a new player who genuinely only cares to play with my friend who has cards irl and to play this online using ANY cards, what format can we use to accomplish this? This is not a "oh i want a strong af or a meta deck", no I just want to have fun, see all these great cards.

Do you keep them forever once you unlock them and get new ones when over 10 starter decks are out?

there's a very frustrating bug and in the game the starter deck don't unlock !!!!

I can max unlock 1 deck per day, am I right? I'm winning with different decks but just 1 is unlocked

I won three games with the current green/white starter deck Growing Hope, but it didn't get added to my collection. Am I doing something wrong? I was only able to get the first deck I won 3 games with, Legions of Phyrexia.

Do you have a video that goes over the way each deck works? I'm an old player (I played back in the 90's when mana burn was still a thing) but have been out of the game for a looooong time and don't know what I'm doing so a video that explains how to play these decks would be great =-)

If only they actually gave all 10 decks. For me Ignite the Forge, spellweaver, and least of all On the Hunt aren't in my personal decks but everything else is. And this is without ever touching the starter deck duels

I played with 4 decks, but i can’t see them in my starter deck list.
Any help.

3 hours of this and i cant win a single game, guess ill just delete it and go play something else

I really want to like grave matters, but keep getting screwed on the curve and draw order. If you get the right cards in the right order, it has a lot of growth build, but if you are going against an aggro it doesn't seem to have the most effective control to survive.

I suck. I can't play to save my life and I have no idea what I'm doing.

I still have no idea if I need to play with all of them to onlock something or not? I returned after several years and have no idea what is going on :D Menu sais something about unlocking them, but nothing happens after wining those 3 games and I cant see any win markers on decks, so I guess no, I misunderstood the message about unlocks somehow :)

Finally WotC found one of the really nice things about Pokemon Online and jumped onboard with it. And in a fair way too. Nice.

This is the all-time best addition to Arena.

Brand new interested player. I got interested after seeing the upcoming doctor who collab. Is the game FTP friendly? Do you have to pay money for card packs?

Hi man! Sorry for the ot but i would like to ask a question: i saved a bit of coins and ended up doing about 10 quick drafts and 2 premiers with the tokens, now i'm at 79% of march of the machine collection and i sit on about 3000 gems and the mastery pass, should i keep doing quick drafts or it would be better to save what i have got for something else? i get less new cards every draft now and if things get unlucky i fear that i'll just burn through my gems. Thanks! By the way, i love the green black starter deck, combining sacrificables like the skeletons and conscripts with gravelighter and the butler gives a ton of removals, then you get the deathound or stickyfingers to finish them.or the ooze guy

I'm a veteran player (w/ 2 accts) and I've been using the Starter Deck Battles for my daily bonuses since it became available! BU ramp great for playing lands quest, WG great for attacking with x creatures! Cheers!

Seems to me these decks can be edited and then sent into Started Deck duel . Anyone share that observation ?

I started out with Storm of Blades, eventually upgraded the hell out of it too, but have been gravitating more and more to Grave Matters. Anyone with tips to help upgrade the latter?

How many games do i need to play or win in order to unlock the starter decks? Some of them are still not in my deck list of starter decks.

I find wolves do pretty well in starter deck duel. A bit lacking in removal but the werewolves can really pile on the aggro pressure in this format.

The starter decks are really good. I was able to go from bronze to silver using blossoming growth.
