Isn’t the ball little bit forward than the position it supposed to be ?

Great and simple instruction swing is so much smoother and hitting the ball better,

To much head movement. Fat shots for most of us.

Im not sure what golf club this is being filmed at but wherever it is, the acoustics must be incredible. Im sure a majority of people watching this video remember the crack of a true "wood." With the layout of this course, what appears to be cut straight out of a forest, the echo I would think will be quit load.

Reminds of Freddy Couples swing. Is the ES patterned after FC’s swing?

As you approach impact, it seems that you are looking in front of the ball (not sure how far),,,, but not looking right at the ball. Letting your head flow forward with the release?

Th reason your swing works and promotes good distance. is that you get the club back to horizontal during the end of the backswing. All the other. things you talk about ( soft grip. raise the left heel, let your head move ect , ) allow this to happen if you are not other wise supple enough to complete the backswing to the horizontal finish of the backswing. If you focus on. this basic observation you will usually do these other things if needed to get the
backswing completed.

Excellent video, Sean. Not that I don't enjoy it when you narrate, but the slomo really does instruct and reveal far better than any technical talk can. I can also see how you've refined your swing from previous older videos and it looks terrific. Well done.

Sean, regarding the second "Deadly Don't": I noticed that Brian would look up before he hit the ball and that you do the same. Phillip doesn't appear to do that. I've tried it and I was quite surprised how well it worked. My question for you is, do you recommend it, or should we simply just let the head move where it wants to?

I never noticed that the swing is very slightly OTT. That’s where some of the free leverage comes from. Solid stuff!

Hi Sean. I was told as a kid that to play any sport, watch the very best players. This is a great video to watch and learn from. However 6 months ago l sprained my ankle and broke a bone. I still play golf but l can't transfer my weight as you show here. Now l keep 90% of my weight on my front foot and leave it there. My trailing foot is 150mm behind my front foot so that as l swing back l get a better in to out swing. I notice you shift your weight forward as soon as you begin the forward swing. It's your forward swing that l will watch many times to drum it into my head. PS even without shifting my weight l still hit driver as far as l.used to. Up to 250 yards. I'm 76)

Are you just turning or are you moving your hips forward like a traditional swing? I’ve watched it several times and appears to me you are thrusting your hips forward. Maybe it’s just the way I’m viewing it.
