The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 4K Ride Experience at Disney’s Hollywood Studios Walt Disney World

Bro I went on this 6 times total and one day I did it twice in a row with a tiny cue. My brain felt like crap

I didn’t expect people to be talking that’s so disrespectful

I know somewhere along the outdoor Que, there is a smell of something dead and it’s part of the ride

Can you get to the gift shop only but not on the ride?

People just LOVE to talk and talk and talk. Shut up! It’s a cool ride!!

Here’s something that happened to me when I was in the tower of terror when I put on my seatbelt and pulled the yellow tag or whatever it’s called it just came off and I did not know it was off so when we started the ride my brother found out about that so when the drops started my brother just hold me to prevent me from flying so I sawed this and I thought my brother was just doing this because I was little at the time so I was holding on because of that and after we got off my brother told me of what happened and I was shocked about that but after years of that happened we went to the same ride but now my brothers and parents are still trying to make sure that I’m safe and the seatbelt works like it’s supposed to.

The scary door

Huge glaring error in this ride.
The guests that vanish in the pre-ride video are seen to enter a lobby elevator, yet the ride YOU go on is that of a service maintenance elevator. One has no connection with the other, yet you are expected to re-experienced the events of the lobby elevator.

There is always at least one numbnut who just can't stop talking through the whole thing! Same with the Movies.

Even when I was not allowed to watch it I could hear the Soundtrack of Twilight Zone from my bedroom, It still gave me chills!

Some of my best memories are from Disneyland (1958), I was lucky enough to take my kids (And Mother in law) to Tokyo Disneyworld way back when they first opened, Watching Mickey Mouse speak Japanese was interesting to say the least.

The atmosphere is different from TOT at Tokyo DisneySea, so I'd like to go there someday!

Also, fun fact, this ride specifically oriented the exit so unlike other rides where worrywarts like me can see the previous riders getting off safe and sound and tell ourselves "it's just a roller coaster you big baby, see, they're fine!" you literally have no physical proof the last riders got off okay, which is petrifying for someone like me who has a writer's imagination and generalized anxiety disorder.
Also, the cast did a fun little troll where if you chickened out they would pretend to make you get on it anyway by leading you to "the elevator" through another door. Then behind the door was a not-scary, kid friendly area of the ride. I know for a fact if they did that to me I'd be bawling.

Did Disney bring that ride back again?!! Been 9 years since I've been there and I live next door

I love that this is right next to Aerosmiths coaster. Talk about a kickstart to your natural dopamine levels! I wish I were a local. Much cheaper and enjoyable than therapy.

The first time I rode this, I was spooked. The second time, nah.

I remember when I rode this for my first time, we had a drop that pulled you up and instantly down without a stop and I felt like i was flying. So fun.

Shame it’s full of insufferably loud yanks 😫

I was going to go on it but I got heatstroke and the rock and roller coaster really wiped me out due to the launch being really pressuring on my already dodgy stomach. I hate drops but I wanted to go on this to say I had, I’m gutted I couldn’t go on it :(

I don't think I could stand all the TALKING from the other passengers. I couldn't hear half the narration. I expect that from kids, but the adults are being totally obnoxious. The young girl on the ride is acting way better than they are.

This ride is a lot of fun. At first when I was younger I was afraid to go on because of the drop and other stuff that was scary to me but when I rode the ride with either my grandmother or my dad as I got older I wasn’t afraid anymore. To be perfectly honest this ride is a lot scarier at night than during the day time but again it’s still a lot of fun.

This version of Tower of Terror is the best because of the 4 possible drop sequences.

Im visiting the park in September and I'm absolutely terrified of this ride. I hate free fall rides. Anyone can confirm how bad it actually is? Someone who isn't a thrill lover, preferably. My parents went to Disney in 1994 and I grew up listening stories about a haunted hotel that had an elevator that dropped abruptly, after showing you a view of the entire park. They kepy telling me how the atmosphere inside the hotel was amazing. Imagine riding this back in the 90's, how innovative it was back in the day. I went to Orlando twice already but I never visited Hollywood Studios. It's a matter of honor to go on this ride this time around.

Found this a little underwhelming because the ride and drop was pretty tame. Amazing atmosphere though and 10/10 on production and execution

Hopefully I can convince my parents that a holiday in Spain can wait so we can go to Disney world! This is one of the attractions I really want to witness, the eerie feeling when you are walking in even! Absolutely amazing!
