I used to marathon this at the dane county fair back in the day one of the best flat rides on earth
ОтветитьRoad this ride back in the mid 90s many times at my local fair in Nevada County CA
ОтветитьSeeing Circus circus trying to preserve it wss beautiful now this ride is dead snd all i have left is it being neglected and torn apart
Ответитьi think the chaos deserves a revival, with todays technology and engineering i think its maintenance issues that it had, would make it less of a nightmare to maintain
ОтветитьAnd the "enterprise" ride still is going in at least 3 different CF parks. The no restraints is what makes it so unique and fun. I know I rode Chaos when it was at Valleyfair but I don't remember the experience.
Ответитьi rode it at six flags new england it was fun got a few flips in before they removed it
Ответитьi rode one at clementon park in nj operated the spider next to it was fun
ОтветитьMy good friend Actually seen 1 of these before. 1 time. And yeah.. Nowadays, They are extremely rare. I wish they still made these rides still.. I would love to see these happen again.
Even from Huss, Chance Morgan, Zamperla and some other theme park companies.. I wish they made these rides again. Even they called it Chaos 2.0
Oh wonderful 🤣
ОтветитьI’m hoping they get brought back in some form one day, re-engineered to be safer of course. There’s a lot of potential here.
ОтветитьThere are still Chaoses in operation e.g. Feria de Santa Rita.
ОтветитьWalibi Holland used to have one of those at the spot where lost gravity is now located!
ОтветитьI was obsessed with this ride and would be more than happy to purchase one from a park's graveyard !!!
ОтветитьChaos was my first thrill ride and I rode it at Rehoboth beach in funland. Good memories. Also rode superflip and superflip 360. Anybody remember what came before chaos at funland in Rehoboth?
ОтветитьI just went to Adventuredome site and can you believe Chaos is still listed there? And the Inverter too? I rode both there previously, I went before El Loco was a thing, so it's been a while.
ОтветитьI actually really enjoyed the Chaos.. I've ridden it at the Adventuredome probably 15 years ago and locally at the Melbourne Show 2 years back to back. Haven't seen it in ages. But was a very fun ride and not too scary at all. The original Enterprise is a lot scarier believe it or not. I think it's just the side seating position, no matter how many flips you get, that keeps it from being too scary but still a lot of fun. An enterprise has zero restraints, my height means I am always in a car alone, it's spookier if that makes sense and the G forces higher.
ОтветитьSurprised there was no mention made about the ability of the seats rotation to be manipulated as the ride was going, kind of makes me wonder how easy they were to flip in 🤔
Ответитьfuntown pier chaos ride r.i.p and adventure domes
ОтветитьIs the one at Adventuredome actually closed? The ride is still listed on their site?
Personally a great ride. Don’t recall the restraints being that bad and even if so I’d say it is warranted in exchange for the thrill it provides unlike something like Disk’o.
Understandable as to why it would be a maintenance nightmare with the number of moving parts it had.
As a kid, I got to ride Chaos at Six Flags Great Adventure. It scared me at the time, but now I appreciate the memories.
ОтветитьThere is still Chaos traveling in Italy, also one touring in Mexico and still a couple in parks around the world.
ОтветитьI remember going to the Adventuredome and thinking the Chaos was the most wild ride, haven't been back in a while and I wish I could have tried it when I had the chance
ОтветитьWelp, I've ridden this. It was quite fun, though I now cringe hearing about it's technical failures.
ОтветитьPLEASE update the Break Dance video for FRF <3 LOVE the new series.
ОтветитьThat's crazy, 48 inches is short lol
ОтветитьI thought it was a great ride from you know the time was operating to it s closure I've been to the chaos adventure dome theme park and there's a lot of good things I can say about it is very smooth for its kind even though it looked rough the restraint systems were not as bad they seemed hard to handle it but get locked good and tell you they were strong so that kept me feeling safe but overall like I said it was a smooth ride and the flipping and like going upside down parts aren't or just executed nicely.
ОтветитьI rode it a few times in 2003 at the AdventureDome in Vegas.
I don't remember much of the experience, but I always wondered why the workers would sometimes make me move seats.
Now I know the reason for the seat switching.
Rode it many times at Indiana Beach - they had issues with it - the safetely features would kick in once it went up and they would have to bring it back down. It wasn't there for very long.
ОтветитьI think there is still one Chaos still operating in New Jersey
ОтветитьThe thumbnail... Is that from Valleyfair? I remember it had a Chaos ride. I was too scared to go on it, but loved watching it.
ОтветитьOne of my favorite rides to ride at Adventuredome but hated operating it as a ride operator when I worked there 6 years ago
ОтветитьI remember seeing these in theme park ads as a kid and I always wanted to ride one. But alas I never got to
ОтветитьAs seen in The Electric Company (Newer One)
ОтветитьI rode the one at the Adventuredome a few times over the years. I loved the ride experience, but hated the restraints. The balancing thing also explains why only half the seats were filled on it. Also, I remember the chance drop tower at the Adventuredome being insane, with it having a forceful launch and drop, compared to the S&S ones.
ОтветитьI rode one at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk, remember seeing the commercials for the new ride and I was just coming out of my shell with being inverted. Loved riding it as a kid, was unpredictable. Didn't realize til now that the rides were problematic.
ОтветитьI rode one of these at HersheyPark as a kid and I loved it so much. (I also loved rides like the zipper so that's not surprising) I wish they could bring back something like it.
ОтветитьNo one I've met that moved one of these portable Chaos rides had anything positive to say about it.
ОтветитьI have been on the ride and operated one for several years. Great ride in concept and stunning visually. I had no problem loading the ride from a balancing perspective but memorizing the seat pairings could be confusing to some. It seemed to suffer with mechanical issues and from what understand was expensive to operate.
ОтветитьDude you totally use Valleyfair as a thumbnail and you didn’t talk about Valley Fair at all❤
ОтветитьI don’t remember much about the ride experience but I did get to ride one with I believe my grandmother at six flags New England
ОтветитьOpened the Chaos at Adventuredome. Was a fun ride to operate with all its quirks!
ОтветитьThey used to have one at Indiana Beach FOREVER ago
ОтветитьI rode the Chaos at Valleyfair which was removed after the 2010 season.
ОтветитьWe had a Chance at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk years ago. That was a fun ride.
ОтветитьI remember when Cedar Point had one of these
ОтветитьI remember riding the 1 at Adventuredome in 2010 and 2014. It was my fav flat ride there and I'm gonna miss it a lot. 😥
ОтветитьI remember riding this a few times, though I don't remember where. Maybe SFGA, maybe Funtown Pier at Seaside (before the fire wiped the pier out), maybe just at a carnival. Wherever the case, I never really cared for the ride ... it always felt to me like an inferior Zipper ride.
It's weird to see videos where half the cars aren't even installed ... likely late-in-the-day rides that resorted to using some cars for spare parts.
In the end (for me), a ride that looked a lot better than it really was. To be fair, a number of rides come to mind when I make this distinction.
The most anticipated disappointment....it was uncomfortable and couldn't rock the car. It was a neat showpiece but the ride experience meh.
Oh the main Pic is my home park valleyfair. I recognize wild thing supports.
I rode the one at Cedar Point. I found it very fun. It is too bad they are no longer around
