My brother in law loved this song and this video. A year ago he had an awful car crash and he survived by miracle. However, he is now permanently disable and blind. Every time I listen to this song and watch this video it reminds me of him in his glorious days and gives me shivers and tears. I would pay gold to have him watch this video again and do the dance with me.

This may sound silly but, this song really gets me though.
Knowing the undertones of this song & the real meaning/ message it gives, makes me feel stronger. I know yous probably think its silly. But as a 20yo going though some shit when this came out really put me in a better place.
Id like to think it was one of the reasons i looked at getting help, & also opening up to my friends which really helped.
Juat by showing them the song & that lead to the conversation of how it made me feel.

I can't stop watching this video. The soulful expression and connection between these men is WHO WE ARE. Institutional culture and empire suppress it because they need men to be locked up inside themselves, holding their power inside, in order to continue with their murderous, exploitative existence. I've done some mens work and I can tell you, when men bond around something other than football or war or religion or nationalism a power that this world desperately needs right now is unleashed.
