Marvel Legends X-Men 3 Pack Forge Jubilee Storm Strike Force Training Figure Review

I'm late to the party here, but I just got this pack. Weird thing when it comes to the gun Forge comes with: yeah, what he comes with is reuse of the gun from Nuke and the AIM troopers, painted like the gun from the Uncanny X-Men 275 cover, when Hasbro already had a sculpt of the actual gun from that cover. It comes with the Juggernaut wave Cable. Check it out, it's a dead-ringer.

I need jubilee so bad but I don’t want to have to buy the 3 pack just to get her.

I don't think I would be as thrilled with these guys if it weren't for them coming out all in a quick succession. If they did like Wolverine, and then made us wait another year or two for another two figures, then I'd have an issue. As is, it's nice to finally have a full version of an X-Men team that goes together this quickly. Now if they could only give us a repaint of Banshee in the green and yellow so we can complete the Giant Sized team then they can work on the Outback versions.

I wish they had gone with the correct thong backs for these suits for the females. That was how they were in the comics.

I'm really excited for this team (all 7 figs, not just these 3). I can forgive a lot but those effects are weak. Definitely swapping them out for higher grade stuff.

Are the straps on Storm's upper thighs sculpted onto the figure or can they be removed ? Does any one know?

I am happy that we get a new strike force after the early Hasbro 2pack man that wolverin was shit am glad Hasbro came out with new ones.

I got the Wolverine for the head sculpts. Not interested in the rest. Wow that old forge figure is so skinny.

I’m only interested in Forge. Swap out the head for the darker Native American sculpt, and swap out the mechanical leg part. That’s what I want.

To be honest I hate the Jubilee heads.
1. The eye color is wrong
2. That is NOT an Asian woman
Also the legs for Jubilee seem to be retooled legs that came with the Spiderverse Gwen, which has calf swivel :///

They look cheap, and even Forge skin tone is wrong, not the best time for Hasbro.

Edit: I forgot how expensive these packs were, Jesus... Hasbro needs to step up their game cause these packs ain't it. Storm's headsculpt is gorgeous though.

jubilee's legs are reuse on an older body so the legs are too big so anytime you move them up it'll rub that plastic thats why the chewing on the thigh.

I just want them to fix Wolverines claws, they did at one point like on the X-Force Wolverine but they have gone back to the cheap bent claws

Hey question: How does it look with a Jean Grey head on Jubilee’s or Storm’s body?

Jean isn’t well known to have that costume, but there was a very, very short time where she did have it sometime after she briefly left X-Factor post-Inferno.

It was the same issues when Jean had tentacle arms. So, I was curious as to how she looks in them.

I'm getting the Banshee set, so I can get Banshee and I'm making Gambit my Joseph, still no idea what to do with Psylocke. I would love some Jubilee's for Stepford Cuckoos.

I'm so stoked for these figures. I do have quite a few of the Jim Lee books with these costumes. It's so cool seeing most of the team dressed like this in action figure form. Especially excited for Gambit, not often you see him in a costume without his trench coat

I am going to get this 3 pack. After using the old Forge in my latest Stop Motion, it was bitch to work with, I definitely needed a new one. I love having a Storm head with Short Hair so I will be using that head on the White Jim Lee one in my videos. I definitely want to have a shelf or section of a shelf dedicated to that awesome cover.

Would have loved to see a Nakia head on the Storm body to see ifs a good Dr. Celia Reyes kitbash.

It took me awhile to find out that Jubilee was Chinese American. Found out mid-way through reading Generation X when it was coming out. I know. Embarrassing. That being said, Hasbro should know this. Giving her blue eyes is white washing. Not cool.

If Hasbro had invested to make these figures great, they would look good together and I would buy them. But they are lazy, cheap, and overpriced. Easy pass.

Hmmm so Jim Lee designed two of the Xmen's iconic costumes. These ones were reminiscent of their original uniforms it makes them look cohesive.

I went for the Banshee 3 pack, but I do want this one too. I am hoping that my money situation is enough to get this one as well. I especially need the Forge to replace my old Toy Biz Version. Storm and Jubilee I don't need as much, this will actually be my 4th Jubilee, but again, 1 of those is also an older Toy Biz so I can sell that one. I would have 3 good ones rather than 2 good and 1 not like now.

They gave Forge's cybernetic leg a new sculpt but didnt make it pinless. Weird

i know shading would be nice but i dont trust them to do it well. you dont like the vhs cell shade, so i assume it would be like but i guess we'll never know for better or worse

I've long been an advocate for the 275 lineup, though I'll continue to complain about the Storm figure since it does not reflect how she looks inside that book, or the preceeding 273 part of the story. Or else they should have included the spacesuit parts for both Storm and Forge (and Banshee in the other three pack) to make up for the fact her only in comic appearance like this is in 277 instead.
