This has nothing to do with any supposed genocide, this is simply the British trying to regain control of the Bay of Bengal and their former colony Burma
During the second world war, they made a deal with these radical Islamists in what is now Myanmar that if they were to fight the Japanese for them, then they would be given a land there.

Why nobody want to help the Rohingya ? Because everyone knew that Rohingya was a problem created by the British when Burma was a British colony. The British like to use minority as civil servants so that these minority will not revolt against the British Colonial rule. The British use Tamils in Sri Lanka. End up creating Tamil Tiger Insurgents after Sri Lanka independence. The British use Rohingya in Burma so end up creating Rohingya insurgents in Burma after the country gain independence. Nobody want to clear up the mess created by the British.
