Watching this again, it's glaring how stunned Lois was that Jordan was capable of this. She was so used to treating him as the "fragile" child, and here he was rescuing her exactly the way Superman normally would.

When Jordan realized he had super speed the look on his face was like wow you’re in so much trouble now

I love how Jordan flinches, gains super speed, then is so stunned and confused that he almost forgets to, you know, dodge the laser

Is this season 2 or something?

Man Jordan has the best character arch in this show,
At first he was a kid with anxiety
But now he's on his way to becoming the next superman.
