I personally think it's not even about just men. Mental health issues are always seen as a joke or drama in Indian society. If a teenager boy/girl say his parents that they are depressed, what will their parents reply, "ish umar mai kyasa depression, ye sab padhai na karne ka bahana hai". Nobody will take them seriously. If you try to tell your friends, they will also laugh or taunt you.

Many people even think mental health issues are just drama, depression is a drama, social anxiety is a drama lol.
