Given we buy and trade crypto online and the blockchain is an online network, then why don't all exchanges serve US customers by way of VPNs and having headquarters out of the country? As far as I know, some states don't allow the trading of cryptocurrency, so plenty of US customers are already using VPNs to be able to trade in their own country--off shore trading seems more logical than jumping through regulatory hoops by the SEC. Heck, Nexo, who are squeaky clean, pulled out of the US after several attempts to comply with their nonsense.
