Thats why productivity in Europe is so low
ОтветитьI really wish life wasn’t this constant nauseating grind to survive. If I could relax I would.
ОтветитьI have accrued 100+ hours of PTO that I can't take. Sick days, who need them when you can just work from home while sitting in a puddle of your own fever sweat. But don't worry, all the extra PTO will get wiped away when the next fiscal year rolls over! Yay! I am just happy I can keep a roof over my head and my hands haven't fallen off yet. Retirement? Who knows with this economy. My retirement plan is to die alone at my desk. No kids, pets, or a significant other to take care of, who has time for all of that anyway. So all is good.
ОтветитьA quick bread and a long cigarette LOL
ОтветитьDo the Japanese work ethic
ОтветитьIndian: I got called slurs after 20 years working here, I just need to impress his boss and eventually outrank him :D
Ответить😢
ОтветитьI worked for a week as a waiter once while very sick
ОтветитьAmerica is a dystopian nightmare country
ОтветитьI have been working for European owned companies over 10 years. Trust me Europeans work and get stuff done with the 40ish hours they work. I am in the US, usually only work 40 hours a week, 4 weeks vacation that does not include sick time. I will never work for a US owned company again.😂
ОтветитьMy work is owned by a European company, so it’s a little better in comparison to other American companies.
ОтветитьYou know maybe the Europeans are on to something here
ОтветитьTIL that as an engineer in the US, my work experience is closer to that of a European.
ОтветитьNow ask about their economy
ОтветитьStupid
ОтветитьIf only American workers realized how much power they actually held if they united and demanded more. What we pay our CEOs and upper management is ridiculous in this country but too many people have swallowed the capitalist rhetoric fed to them since infancy here.
ОтветитьThe “rise and grind” quote makes me want to vomit when people say it.
ОтветитьI am an American however I work for an Italian company and I must stay the 4 weeks of pto I get every year is quite nice

ОтветитьHonestly, the American one is just more about how toxic American work culture is than how it actually is for the people who work in lower positions. There is almost no one I know who is this excited or this interested in their job or who wouldn't leave as early as possible as they can get away with
ОтветитьWhy do americans allow themselves to live like this?
Ответитьrepublicans everywhere : "the american people dont want to live outside their job." why? billionaires said so.
ОтветитьAmerican here: When I worked in the office, I had a freierabend sign in my office. Half my co-workers loved it (once they understood it) and the other half acted like I was insane.
ОтветитьVomiting blood is weakness leaving the body. Wanting to not have stress ulcers is communism.
ОтветитьCan't relate. Union strong 💪🏻
ОтветитьSo long as I attend the meetings I need to attend and make up my full hours by the end of the week, my work could not care less about my schedule
ОтветитьYeaaaahhh but let's also keep in mind that American corporations trying to force staff into multiple roles means one person is generally juggling several responsibilities, all of which can be sabotaged at will.
For example, I worked for a company that took on Casper LLC as a client and left me, an entry level peon, to do the far underpaid job of being that client's point of contact in addition to my normal workload. I was personally and solely responsible for going between our home systems and the client's systems and making them work together so the client could have the information they needed on their system and we had the same info appropriately distributed on OUR system.
So when I got burned out and put in my notice and my boss told me to "Have a document ready by EOD explaining how to achieve system synergy; I'm accepting your notice and terminating you after today", you can imagine how I laughed and laughed. 2nd biggest client and the company lost them because the boss was butthurt about me quitting and nobody knew how to use their system. That's what happens when you try to make one cog do the job of 3; you get triple the cleanup when it breaks.
Yeah and every company wonders why no American wants to work
ОтветитьThere's reasons america has a bigger economy than everyone else
ОтветитьWork in America can be defined by, your arm is broken but don’t let the customer know that’s unprofessional smile and work overtime k?
ОтветитьHey at least the CEO gets another yacht while you cant pay for medicine <3
ОтветитьI’m going to get some bread and have a long cigarette 👽
Ответитьso true. how lame
Ответить"I love work, I love overtime, I love work, I love overtime, I love work, I love overtime" - Star Rail
ОтветитьHello from Spain. It’s horrible in here
ОтветитьSoll ich dir was sagen?...
Ich habe den gleichen hut.🥲
America is exactly Like Europe.
Just less and simultaneously more honest.
Someone who is told their life is fulfilling will never compare to someone who has a fulfilling life
ОтветитьThe U.S. has gradually become a terrible place to work and live. No one here is happy working any job where a “boss” is in charge. Sickness is viewed without sympathy and perceived as weakness, and affordable health care is a pipe dream. Every one of us is trapped in debt. Again, NO ONE here is happy with the life they’re living except for the 1% who are in charge of businesses and hoarding their wealth.
ОтветитьAnd then the American gets fired with no notice
ОтветитьAnd they say overwork is only a Japanese problem… nooooope
ОтветитьYou are startled by a sudden hand around your shoe. As you look down you see me, pitifully prostrate before you. “Take me with you” I beg as I am slowly dragged away by my ankles towards the corporate American torture dungeons.
Ответить🇪🇺🇪🇺🇪🇺❤
ОтветитьStarting to understand why the Europeans can't defend themselves or compete economically. We're headed that direction too.
ОтветитьIt's 100% acceptable to just say "I don't feel like working anymore today" and then go home.
ОтветитьStill better than Japan
ОтветитьStill better than Japan
ОтветитьDieu que je suis heureux de travailler en france ! 😂
ОтветитьDo you prefer hustling or grinding?
