Every collection needs a Casio so that you'd know what time it really is...
ОтветитьOne? I mean do you really even NEED one?
ОтветитьThe Tudor 1926 is beautiful
ОтветитьAt the $10,000 prize point I'd combine the Omega Aqua Terra with this Oris you mentioned at the $5,000 prize point and the new Tissot PRX Automatic Chronograph (Panda)! For me as a Swiss Omega and Tissot should be in one collection! 😇
ОтветитьHello
ОтветитьWhile making sure you get your money worth is important, what matters is you like what you are collecting so even if others dislike what catches your eye get what makes you happy not what makes others happy.
ОтветитьLongines Hydroconquest, Seiko King Turtle and Omega Planet Ocean. Throw in a less expensive Luminox as an HM. Lume is insufficient on the AT.
ОтветитьI'm working on building a collection.
Currently I have:
Work watch - Casio A158W
Every Day watch - Samsung galaxy smart watch
Dress watch - Hamilton Khaki H70555533
This Fall I'll be buying an Omega aqua terra with the silver dial to scratch the explorer itch while saving some money.
Really the only other watches I'm interested in are a speedmaster, and a tudor gmt pepsi
my 3 favorites are the no name brand gumball machine mickey mouse, 120.00 dive quartz watch and casio calculator watch.
ОтветитьDream 3:
1. Speedmaster Moonwatch 3861 Sapphire
2. Grand Sieko w/ Spring Drive
3. Rolex Submariner No Date
What are you wearing in this video Teddy? Oyster Perpetual?
ОтветитьMy Seiko Turtle purchased new is absolute rubbish. A real lemon 🍋
Ответить1. Zenith defy
2. Glashütte SEAQ
3. Jaquet Droz Grand seconde / JLC ultra thin moon face in Gold
Can anyone explain to me what „hacking“ means in the context of a watch movement?
ОтветитьAiming at building a 3-watch collection consisting of Orient Kamasu II Limited, Tissot PRX Chronograph (white), and Omega Aqua Terra small seconds (silver blue dial). Still have to get the Omega. Might need a 4th as a dress watch.
ОтветитьI have my govt issued Marathon Field Watch with NATO strap 40MM, a simple Timex Expedition 40 MM with leather band and a Patek Phillipe with leather band 38MM.....the most expensive was my Timex, of course since I paid with cash....the Marathon I paid with 14 years of service and the Patek was inherited from my grandfather....
ОтветитьI’m going to mix & match… The ORIS Aquis, The Omega Aqua Terra & The Zenith El Primero …
ОтветитьMy $20 Casio is the best watch I ever had.
I think this guy just sells watches and never says anything negative for any watch
I own a vintage Longuines Conquest. Where can I service it? Thank you
ОтветитьI find that Seagull 1963 unusually attractive. Is that a Chinese brand?
ОтветитьHey Teddy love the content....always go blind trying to figure out what is on your wrist in each video....how about a quick shout out to the watch you are wearing at the beginning or end of the video? Keep up the great work.
ОтветитьThat Tudor 1926 is looking nice, and the more I see Sinn on your channel the more I grow to like it!
ОтветитьI just don't understand why Omega is the alternative to a Rolex? I always feel a bit underwhelmed by the Rolexes tbh. Omega's just knock it out the park for their market position
ОтветитьOkay so here's another 15 watches to add to the collection...
ОтветитьI’d rather cut one of my fingers off rather than being seen in public wearing the Seiko Srpe. That’s the ugliest shit I’ve ever seen.
ОтветитьWe really have different taste… that reverso you showed… a reverso is supposed to be elegant and classic. How could I ever wear that dark green garbage with a suit? It just looks awful. A dress watch should be clean, in white and gold
Ответить$1000
1) Casio Duro
2) Seiko 5 diver
3) Sieko alpinist
I paid a little more than 2000 Dollars for my collection and have managed to cover quite some different aspects.
I have a Seiko Alpinist Reinterpretation (subtle green dial) as fieldwatch option. (Got a good deal on it and paid almost 200 dollars under retail about 550$)
A vintage King Seiko 5626 as dresswatch. (50 years old and runs between +0 and +1 second per day. Absolutely insane movement. Also the finishing beats everything from switzerland from that period of time) (Paid 400 Dollars when they were a little less expensive than now. Every deal under 1000 dollars is still a bargain for those luxury-pieces)
A Citizen Promaster as beater/diver(i don't really dive but i like a watch i could wear while swimming. Cost me about 160 Dollars)
A Vintage swiss Chronograph with diving Bezel as everyday-watch (From the brand Pierce that fell victim to the Quartz-Crisis but they were the first ones that made Chronographs waterproof. Got a not-working one my father wore in his youth. Brought it to a talented watch-dealer that restored it nicely. Paid around 900$ for that service. Worth every penny. I never thought how useful a Chronograph with diving-bezel is for everyday-use. Everyone should look for something like that for real)
And a Casio CFX-200 as digital calculator-watch. It is by far the King among all calculator-watches because it is a scientific-calculator. (Very expensive in good condition but absolutely worth it). I bought it from some guy who didn't really knew how much these pieces are worth and gave him 100 bucks because it was in very good condition. Saved me around 900 dollars because these are very rare collector-pieces. I'm an engineer so a normal calculator-watch is absolutely wasted on me, because i don't need a calculator-watch for simple arithmetic operations. the trigonometric and exp-functions on the CFX-200 are quite useful for me because i am an electrical engineer.
Teddy, what watch are you wearing in this video?!
ОтветитьMy dress watch is in a lower price category to the other watches as I am rarely in a position to wear it so can't justify it
Ответитьweird that there is basically no watch to go to the gym, if its a all around collection watches for the gym is like one of the most important ones to have, ofct its a gshock for starters but interesting to see other options
instead we have 3 watch collection that cannot cover any action lifestile, all 3 watches is there to be the one to be careful with
Is annoying, the watch industry has a story and explanation for every little detail in a watch but when it comes to that "good thing" in that recycle trend we have now there-s 0 explanation. What is the "good thing"? Do they donate a percent of sales to cleaning the ocean? Is there a limited edition of the watch being auctioned for a rainforest charity? Or is just a watch dial made out of recycled plastic, not making any difference for the bottom line using a technologic process that makes that dial less eco friendly than metal. I think is just making a statement of "I am superficial and I invest in me, wile pretending I care about world issues"
ОтветитьWhat Ted forgotten to mention that Oros watch with funky colours has 5 days of battery life😮
ОтветитьI'd replace the Seiko in the $1000 collection with a CITIZEN Promaster Diver Eco-Drive in Titanium BN0200-56E for about the same price(retail)
ОтветитьMy favourite collection is the $10k, although all out of my price range 😅 my whole 5 watch collection comes in at well under $1k
ОтветитьAqua Terra & the 1926?? Meh.
ОтветитьMy pick from my collection for a 3 watch is BB58, Rolex OP, and GS White Birch spring drive.
ОтветитьLongines Conquest and Omega Aqua Terra are the stars of this video. Two beautiful, versatile watches. Really nice.
ОтветитьHow about a 3 watch system that's more of an everyday, sport/dive, complications?
Ответитьas a new watch enthusiast, i once bought the seiko turtle (srp777) in the military 10 years ago. Recently I aqcuired a seiko cocktail with a stunning green dial time for new years, and just right now i purchased a seiko alpinist with a blue dial as the versatile everyday watch. I am a one brand pony, but I have grown very fond of seiko and maybe someday I will broaden my horizon!
ОтветитьI'm in the $25,000 market, personally. My picks are - Dress: Grand Seiko Whirlpool ($8-10,000), Sports: Rolex GMT Master II Pepsi ($11-12,000) and Hybrid: Omega DSOTM Apollo 8 ($7-9,000).
ОтветитьI did. When I started, I tended to buy what I liked. :(
ОтветитьMini turtle, alpnist, cocktail time. That's all you need. All from Seiko. All classy watches
ОтветитьCan we please have an updated vid? With all new releases, new combos and options are available. Pretty curious to know what Teddy would suggest now.
ОтветитьAs a world traveller, sea lover and a corporate man my choices are..Rolex Skydweller, Rolex Submariner and AP Royal Oak Chronometer...
ОтветитьIf I have to choose 3 from my collection I’d go for:
- Breitling Chronomat GMT 40 Green as the sporty option
- Grand Seiko SBGA413 40 as everyday watch
- Zenith El Primero Rainbow ‘95 as chrono with leather strap for a more dressy environment
I am looking to have a 3 watch set with the Hamilton 42mm Murph, the Orient Bambini with small seconds hand(champagne dial), and the Longines Master Collection Chrono Moonphase with Steel bracelet and BlueRay dial. Total is $5024.00
ОтветитьMay we always pay our respects to our great British, European and Australian pioneers and explorers who made our great country what is today🙌
Australia is for all Australians equally regardless of their race or background, always was, always will be ❤️🇦🇺
