Absolutely amazing video, I have finally realised that as a beginner in the financial investment market, you can achieve close to nothing yourself because you still have a lot to learn. Trading with a professional broker is more profitable and my advice for beginners is to always take advantage of that.

The vague optimism for NFTs really aged like milk. Personally I think the whole idea of PoW blockchains has been shown to be deeply flawed. The core of the idea is that you can make a “trustless” system. That’s a fantasy. There is no such thing. Even with Bitcoin. Whoever is trying to sell you that idea wants you to believe that you can buy into what they’re selling without any risk.
PoS blockchains probably have the same deep flaw, but I’ll reserve my judgement until it has played out more.
Proof-of-authority blockchains may have a value, because it’s not a system trying to fool you. The trust is made explicit instead of implicit.

You can't decentralize crypto currency and NFT if they are still exchanged under real currency. This whole thing is just a scheme.

You don't own "the unique original" piece of art, like you would with DaVinci's Mona Lisa. It's as though ONLY Jpeg's of the Mona Lisa existed. They are not only COMPLETELY FUNGIBLIE, but also ABSOLUTELY FREE. All the NFT is is a receipt- it has nothing to do with "owning" an original piece of art. It's a total scam. It's completely useless. At least in Decentralland or the MetaVerse, you own something unique and useful in the game. NFT's would be like you have something in the game that literally everyone can have, but you have a receipt for yours. Who cares- the receipt is useless if everyone else can have the same thing without the receipt.

It doesn't mention the financial bubble aspect, the weaknesses it posseses, the deep and recent climate impact it has, the thriving culture of art theft and ponzi scheming, the challenge it provides to the notion of ownership itself, the practical solutions it provides to ownership that centralized systems don't already solve at a fraction of the time and a fraction of the energy cost, the criticisms it has received over the years and the contemporary failing and shortcoming of the most popular projects on date. While the technology has potential, it has a lot of shortcoming and issues it is yet to address the issues it has and solutions it can provide.

Great video. But I still can't help but correct it. These things are bugging me to a breaking point. So many miss-consceptions. It's in the literature itself.

Blocks are hashed, not necessarily encrypted. Encryption isn't necessary when its already public and permissionless.
You missed the important part of it. Ie: the chain, where the name comes from.

Blockchains aren't necessarily decentralized, they can be centralized. Bitcoins is not, same with most cryptos as they are intended to be anti-government.

Satochi didn't invent or propose the blockchain. Just look again at the paper itself, the timestamp server is even cited in the paper... Their >only< contribution, big but only, was using previous work in a way to have a working system that is permissionless and public with no central authority without having the issue of double spending.

Also keep in mind that NFT'S must first be accepted in law for ownership to actually matter. Though the potential is there, right now it doesn't legally represent anything. Because at the end of the day, we live with governance.

inflation is not just about increasing how many bitcoins there are but how many times you can divide it as well. Also bitcoin is a market you can corner, and lose. not to mention i the value of the smallest division of a bitcoin is more valuable than a car how will you buy a coffee. like have only hundreds where nobody else can break them.
