Don’t see any intention to injure on anyone’s part. Clean check. He just happened to fall in the path Perry was skating. No way he could have gotten out of the way from hitting him as quick as it happened. Just one of those unfortunate hockey plays. Hope Tavares will be ok.
ОтветитьWatching this live was the scariest thing I’ve seen on tv ever
ОтветитьFakn jabb
ОтветитьJust wanna point out how terribly the first trainer handled it. You can tell he’s literally out from miles away but when he gets to Tavares he tried fucking talking to him like he’s on earth, doesn’t flip him on his back through the process of all of this, then Tavares “wakes up” and falls backwards in an awkward position that could’ve potentially made him hit his head again. Terrible way to handle someone who’s unconscious
Edit: I did notice he’s holding his neck though which is great that means he at least understands what’s happening, but still
That was scary , but the bullshit that they went after him later , there was no intent by perry, total garbage.
ОтветитьComing from an islanders fan this was terrifying to watch. Never wish a player to get brutally injured like that.
ОтветитьHaha classic 🤣 hopefully it happens to matthews this year 🤞
Ответитьthe quick reaction to lift his legs from Perry may have saved Tavares's life.
ОтветитьHow about the carelessness of the medical staff standing him up like that? After a neck injury..stretcher needs to come out
ОтветитьThat’s karma for leaving Long Island
ОтветитьChariot and Perry totally orchestrated the whole thing. They calculated and rehearsed the move for weeks.
Plan B was a puck filled with C4.
JOHNNY T YOU MADLAD HOLY SHIT HOW'D U NOT GET A NECK INJURY FROM THAT??? He's ok now tho :)
ОтветитьNo, Chiarot hit him, then Perry tripped over him and paralyzed him
ОтветитьWaiting for the graphic part still
ОтветитьUpdate?
ОтветитьHockey should be illegal
ОтветитьOMG DEAD OMG REAL
ОтветитьThank god this wasn't a repeat of Clint Malarchuk
ОтветитьCheap shot Chariot with the little grin after seeing JT take the blow to the head.
ОтветитьBlu ble blu bla ble Blu bla ble
ОтветитьI’m no Corey Perry fan but he did all he could to try to avoid that contact!
ОтветитьI hate Toronto and Montreal so when i saw this cause my brother had to watch i didnt react cause idc if you aint a bruins player what happens happens
ОтветитьFeel better soon i hope
ОтветитьClean
ОтветитьFucken weak ass neck man was I fucken laughin when this stunt happend
ОтветитьThis is why I’m scared to play hockey
ОтветитьChariot Hit Him First Before He Got A Second Hit So Don’t Be Stupid It A Dangerous Hit
ОтветитьWhen I first saw this, I swear, John Tavares looked like he was about to die. That neck hit look so bad.
ОтветитьOh hey this man just suffered a possible/highly likely spinal injury lets throw his body around
Ответитьohhh that looked soooooooo bad
ОтветитьMore proof that the hockey gods are a bunch of crack addicted child molesters.
ОтветитьThe Leafs really are cursed.
ОтветитьWeekend at bernies anyone ?
ОтветитьI thought he broke his neck
Ответитьthat Perry had to fight after this just tells you how dumb NHL players really are
ОтветитьThe leaf medical staff can't hold him still wtf are they doing to him
ОтветитьWow hope he ok
ОтветитьTo the people that enjoyed this hit and think this is funny, I hope this happens to you! 🖕I hate the leafs but I would NEVER disrespect an athlete because of the uniform they wear. ABSOLUTELY NO ATHLETE DESERVES THIS INJURY! Some of the comments i read almost put me to tears. You should be ashamed of yourselves and your existence makes me sick! However, the true sports fans and good people on this thread redeem the good for humanity and for that, I thank you! A lot of good comments and good people out here too! 💙❤
ОтветитьThis would never happened if the hit did not come
ОтветитьThis sucks. He’s such a classic guy
Ответитьshut up craig simpson, honestly so leafs bias.
ОтветитьI thought his neck was broken at first... I mean the way the trainer lifted him tho 😐
Edit: oh now I know why... he was keeping it in place and steady
And no cares about the knee on knee that happened in the first hit. That was dirty and he got away with it.
Ответитьi thought his neck might have gotten cut when i first saw it...get well John...really tough hit
ОтветитьWow scary
ОтветитьSteve Simmons of Toronto Sun claims Chiarot should been suspended for the initial hit claiming knee on knee. That is a crock. Terrible incident but not a dirty hit -- Chiarot leads with shoulder and makes first contact on the body, not by leading with knee. JT injured knee may happened when trainer tried to get him up and he falls back, buckling his knee.
ОтветитьWell wishes to Tavares
ОтветитьI said they would need to deal with Tavares to win but I didn't mean like that.
