I just bought the Crown Limited for my wife coming out of a Corolla. We both love it so much and can’t wait for the 950 mile road trips to the grandkids.

Went to Toyota dealer for Camry XLE Hybrid for my daughter, the salesperson asked me to test drive a 2024 Crown Limited. I immediately signed the contract without delay. Just a fantastic car. My daughter is so happy.

This car turned out to be a flop. Less people bought it last year than those who bought the Avalon in 2022, and Avalon numbers were not good in recent years. So if this were Toyota's attempt at boosting their large sedan sales, it has failed. So far in 2024 the numbers have gone up a bit compared to 2023, so maybe there is hope for it yet.

I just ordered mine in Heavy Metal with Black/Dark Chestnut interior. Test drove one before I ordered mine and it's an amazing car.

Do you have to plug it in or does it self charge?

Is it worth nearly 60 grand?

Sounds like Toyota is downplaying the sportiness so I may look elsewhere

Why didn't Toyota put Heads Up Display in the new Crown?? My 2021 Avalon Hybrid Limited has it. No Heads Up Display = NO SALE

Own one and love it. Seriously, great car that's fun to drive. $40 to fill the tank with premium getting about 450 per tank doesn't hurt either.

I'll take the 340hp, thankyouverymuch. I'll take the hit on MPG. I'm betting it won't be near as bad as they claim if you don't rip it all the time. I have a high horsepower sedan currently and I generally get 26mpg and as high as 29mpg and I think it's rated for 22. (I get as low as 15mpg if I'm having a good time driving my short distance to work.)

Did Toyota change the color red on the 2024 Crown Limited? This seems like a brighter red than the 2024 but it could just be the cameras.

I was in the market for a 2021 or 2022 Lexus RX350 (due to the V6 engine) when my husband pointed out a vehicle on the roadway which was the Toyota Crown. I like sitting up high and was not in the least interested in a sedan. We ended up going to a Toyota dealership and test driving the Crown. We both fell in love. We’re now purchasing the Toyota Crown Limited. Serendipity. This was a great video and I enjoyed the comments here as well from other Crown owners.

It is too ugly and WAY overpriced. You got every owner, all 3 dozen of them to comment. These are NOT selling at all. No one wants them other than the few dozen you got to comment. There just isn't a reason to buy something this ugly for this much money.

Its biggest failure is that it looks like a hatchback but doesn’t actually have the utility of having a hatch. The other mistake is they slapped on a Toyota badge and they should have used a Crown badge.

Its overpriced... the quality inside is mediocre especially its sound proofing. knock in the side of the back bonnet and hear the crick sounds. even Yaris and its smaller Toyota has better quality in some parts with half the price or lower. Finally there is no comparison between this Mediocre car with Lex...

Excellent review. My wife and I just bought a Platinum version of the Crown and everything you described is right on target with our car. I would however give high marks for the Hybrid MAX powertrain as at 340 HP it is very quick and can really pin you into your seat. Toyota claims 5.7 seconds (?) 0-60 but Car and Driver pulled 5.1 seconds 0-60 with a platinum in their testing. We are getting 31 MPG highway and 28 City which we are not complaining about. The technology package as you stated is very comprehensive and state of the art. The handling performance is excellent and being that we live in Wisconsin, the AWD during winter will be much appreciated. Thank You for your review!

Great in depth honest review. I never liked Toyota's for the most part. I have been liking them more over the last few months and I'm thinking about leasing to likely buy one for longevity and comfort reasons. So far it's between the Crown or Camry, and I'm beginning to lean more and more toward the Crown.

I think the Toyota division separate from the Lexus division just got tired of Lexus stealing all the Thunder and decided to come out with their own luxury brand.
I'm saddened that the Toyota Venza is being discontinued when they sold over 29,000 units for the 2023 year. And they are discontinuing it. Yet they are willing to keep the struggling triple digit sales hydrogen Mirai.
Doesn't make sense.
My wife and I are looking hard at the Toyota Crown versus the 2025 Toyota Camry. I'm sure we will be happy with either.

I was looking at the crown but $4500 just to get adequate (not great) speakers - sure it comes with crap you don't want like 21" wheels. It would be like going to 5 guys and paying $20 for fries because you have to get it with brussel sprouts, and lutkefish on your burger.

Yes the new 24-25 is here now XLE was up graded to leather interior as stranded. Drove it then traded a Cadillac in on this Toyota Crown XLE. Road sign recognition will drive you nuts luckily you can turn it off. I agree with you on everything. Thanks 😊

Looks great. Pisses me off that they eliminate the sunglasses holder when the put in a panoramic roof. That is missing in my 2021 4Runner TRD Pro as well. Simple things that i use everyday in my other car

The style is exceptional. The 2025 Camry Hybrid has been redesigned, and does look a little more like the Crown versus the 2024 'Star Wars' front end. I was thinking about getting the new Camry, but this car is Stunning to me. I'm willing to buy a two year old Crown to get the more comfortable car than to buy a new Camry. The Price will be about the same this way.

I’ve heard that the bigger wheels (shown here) make the ride more rough. Have you driven one with the smaller wheels? Does it make a difference?
