Average Linux user who has no idea how to use Windows.

Seriously, these "Linux good, Windows bad" memes aren't even funny anymore. Learn to use Windows properly and you won't find anything wrong with it.

Linux isn't perfect, but it's the ONLY operating system I use online. My windoze 7 PC (I refuse to use newer bloatware that installs mountains of junk) runs software just fine - older software I still use, or new that I download by using Linux and transfer by USB. If I did get a third x86-64 PC to use at the same time and use online, I would run OpenVMS or ArcaOS, not windoze or crappertino spyware.

As a programmer, I literally can’t exist without Linux now.

I had Linux Mint maximum for home, entry point etc. On third day it just gave me boot screen, I googled error and fixed it. On fifth day it gave me boot screen again with another error, and this I couldn't fix and just deleted Linux. Something like that I had with clear Ubuntu. But my WSL is working perfectly, so I think when it comes to UI, Linux is not stable

I had to install some monitoring software on my personal device for work. Didn't want to do that on my desktop, so instead I decided to use my 2011 Macbook Pro. Unfortunately (Fortunately?) the software deemed my computer incompatible so I installed Ubuntu on a partition. Lo and behold, it installed just fine. Turns out, my computer's hardware is still perfectly capable of running software! Who knew?

I will say, however, that I cannot recommend Linux to the average person. When it works it's great, but when it doesn't the troubleshooting can be a nightmare. I don't mind for the most part since I went to college for this sort of thing and do software dev as a career, but I could not imagine the average Windows/Mac user putting up with -- much less resolving -- some of the random quirks you'll run into using Linux.

I don't understand why people's hate windows this much😂, so many programs and games not work with linux ( oh i am a pirate Gamer ) and i don't face any kind of issues with windows, windows 11 running very smoothly, anyway my secondary device ( old laptop ) ranning with Ubuntu... ....very good for old devices..
