ОтветитьYou really need to add "Ferndale Police" to the tags on this. There are A LOT of folks who would love to see that quick shot of the FPD cops and cruiser.
Ответитьlove the count!
ОтветитьThis guy stinks.
ОтветитьOMG I remember this guy!!! :)
ОтветитьWow! I loved watching this guy and the movies he hosted on Sat mornings!! Way cool memories! Thank you!
Ответитьi was born 83
ОтветитьI am still laughing 30 years later!
ОтветитьI remember seeing this very show. It was like MST3K, without the silhouettes. I'd really, really like to own the whole thing.
ОтветитьI feel sorry for kids today because we had it made back then!
ОтветитьDracula vs. Frankenstein-the Al Adamson classic that had the WORST Dracula ever, as well as being the final film of the great Lon Chaney Jr. and J, Carroll Naish as well as starring Freaks legend Angelo Rossito. And of course, Adamson's hot-as-hell wife, Regina Carroll!
ОтветитьI love it I was born in 76 and I grew up with this stuff. Remember Saturday night main event WWF we never knew when it was coming on we had to stay up late watching channel 4 to see if it was going to be on. it would air in place of Saturday night live. Halloween in Detroit In the 80's was exciting I never knew Devils Night was a Detroit thing I literally thought it was a national event that all of America recognized. I am so glad I grew up when and where I did. Thanks for the memories Detroit and the southend Dearborn.
ОтветитьYes, I watched this when it first aired, and probably laughed at every joke. What the fuck did I know, I was 13 years old.
ОтветитьWhat's scary is how many of these quotes I use today. SCARE OFF YOUR PANTS!
ОтветитьDoes any recall where we had to get our Count Scary 3-D glasses? Burger King? Beaumont Hospital?
ОтветитьOhhh sooo Scarrrryyy lol
ОтветитьI was 12 @ this time . Halloween was actually fun back then
ОтветитьI was 15 watching this laughing my off. Met Tom at a High School basketball ball game, he was a official,a good one. Livonia Bentley.
ОтветитьI often wondered what Joe Flaherty thought of this character?
Or Billy Van for that matter!
I LOVED THIS WHEN I WAS 11
ОтветитьFirst Count Scary feature I remember was Creature from the Black Lagoon in 3-D. Great use of the now somewhat obscure Bob Seger song Back In '72.
ОтветитьI remember Count Scary ,i liked to watch him but the movies not so much. Even now at almost 60 years old he still makes me chuckle.
ОтветитьThank you
Ответить"For the movie 'Bikini Beach', you don't need any pants, I'll tell you that"
Oh the jokes that went over my head as a kid
I miss him
ОтветитьThis makes me miss my childhood. I was born in ‘75. I watched Count Scary every Halloween. I remember back then everything seemed a lot more light hearted and fun
ОтветитьOne of Seger' s greatest.
ОтветитьThose were the days my friend! I was Class of 83, this guy was amazing, and he showed great movies!
ОтветитьBikini beach?” Was that the one in 3D! I loved this guy!
ОтветитьThis guy reminds me of Count Floyd. 😂
ОтветитьMy pants flew off watching this, loved it.
ОтветитьWent out in Norfork, hung on a short short
Livin' with a bottle of wine
With music ladies and burned out babies
I was tryin' to write a couple of lines
Sherriff Gribbs with his grim ad libs
Spoutin' about the crime in the street
And women were screamin' and some was dreamin'
'Bout the crimes between the sheets
You know that music died, hurt my pride
But somehow I pulled through, back in '72
Somehow we made it to Baton Rouge
We stayed inside for a week
We weren't in town for no Mardi Gras
So we decided to sleep
Houston, yes, was a good old guest
Lord knows how bad we wanted to play
But we got homesick for Lincoln Park, imagine
And man we just couldn't stay
Tricky Dick, he played it slick
Something I was afraid he'd do, back in '72
Then all the new born philosophers
Are windows for the world
Then some mystic psuedo-intellectual
Avant-garde-ish world
Takin' notes on that ?
That got me down on the scene
It was so hip to be negative
So square to try and believe
When the waters cleared, it was what we feared
We learned nothin' new,
Back in '72
