That's great initiative and intervention at the earliest stage. I used to work with deaf children too and introducing them and their parents sign language. My youngest was 3.5 years. My area was communication
ОтветитьNot HERBAL…..ERBAL
ОтветитьI loved this vid I’m a first time mommy and I’m currently pregnant learning asl to teach to my little one so there’s no gap in communication 🥹🫶🏽✨
P.s. the end of the video was too kute lol
Sage: gives doggo treat, then tries to take a bite 😂
Where did you get those shorts? I know this is late but I’m 6 months PP and in need of some long shorts
ОтветитьI want a herbal coffee too!😮 No link for herbal coffee?😢
ОтветитьGotta know what’s your herbal coffee??
ОтветитьThis is inspiring! Thank you for taking the time to record and share!!
Can I ask what kind of highchair/seat she has? I love it!!
She's so adorable. And very smart! ❤️
ОтветитьThis was so cute to watch :) wondering how old Sage was in this?
ОтветитьI wish she would get to the point on how she taught sign language and not all that ridiculous stuff we don’t care about about her food and All the other stuff we don’t care about
ОтветитьI love that this video was real and showed real life and not overly edited so that I could understand what possibly could happen. Thank you for making this video!
Ответить👍
ОтветитьHey Mama, what kind of high chair is Sage using?
ОтветитьThat moment when Sage put her food on the book....hahaha. So relatable. Where is the sign for that one??
ОтветитьHi, what high chair is this? We are looking for one we can attach to the counter!
ОтветитьHow old is she in this video?
ОтветитьI love the kisses 💕that was too sweet
Ответитьthis video was a little too long, I just wanted to get to the key points of signing and not an over explanation to all these extra things.
ОтветитьI love your content and want to thank you for providing wholesome things! I can’t wait to start sign with my baby! I also live in Orlando and will have to go check out Disney Springs!
ОтветитьCame here to learn something about ASL and spent 10 minutes watching a random families morning .
ОтветитьReally inspiring..our daughter is 4m in a few days and we will start with 3 signs and see how it goes
Love from Italy
Love this concept. Thanks for sharing! Tips: you totally missed the baby communication with Sage at the beginning of the video. When your baby speaks jibber jabber, you are supposed to respond as though it's a real conversation. Because... that's what's what she's thinking! Your video is too too long. Please, just get to the point. I don't care about your personal life!!! Get on with how you taught your baby sign language. I mean really, do we really need all the details about your breakfast!! Are you so vain about breastfeeding? Lady you over killed what you were trying to achieve!!!
ОтветитьSage reminds me so much of my daughter! She has auburn hair (a little less red), the cute little extra long bangs in the front, and is a thumb sucker! 🧡
ОтветитьWhere did you get the utensils for her ?? Soo adorable 😍
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьYou are amazing mom and beautiful best of luck and your beautiful family I love watching your videos
ОтветитьCan you please tell me which probiotic powder you giving to your beautiful princes please I’m looking for a good one
ОтветитьSage is the most entertaining little girl HAHAHAHA when she was drinking her water I absolutely DIED! and that scream was hilarious hahahaha. She's such a happy baby!
ОтветитьWhat coffee alternative do you drink??
ОтветитьDid u guys move to Florida??
ОтветитьJust wanted to say Hello :) been watching for a few months now, I live in Niagara, Ontario and my little guy is about the same age as Sage ( George was born nov30th 2020) I really enjoy your content and as a new content creator myself I definitely look up to you with much respect :) Keep up the awesomeness lol your amazing
ОтветитьBrilliant! Thank you 🙏🏼
ОтветитьLooks so Yummy. Thank a lot go for your effort.
ОтветитьWe’re you teaching her all of these at the same time? Or just one at a time?
ОтветитьDoes a year old is too late? :/
ОтветитьI love watching sage because my little guy is similar ages, 10/30/20 and it amazes me how every baby is truely different. She so cute and adorable. I'm hard of hearing and been signing since I was 2 years old. I been signing to my son since he was a newborn and he still hasn't caught on, LOL. He has done "all done" a few times, and "milk" but its true, every baby learns at their own paste.
ОтветитьI started showing my baby signs a few months ago because I loved how Sage used them! I would be interested to see a video of you talking about how Sage's eating progressed through the 6 months you started feeding her foods and decreased milk. My baby is 7 months but I am so scared to start solids 😬
ОтветитьI was born without hearing until the age of twelve and a half.. which would take writing a novel here to explain why I’m a hearing person today. It starts off with me weighing only 2 pounds, 2 ounces at birth in 1962. I studied at the John Tracy (Spencer Tracy’s son) clinic for the deaf where I learned how to sign, read lips and say enough words to verbally ask for what I needed. I managed to retain the knowledge of signing bc I had a deaf friend that I communicated with all the time. It’s true what they say though, if you don’t use it you’ll lose it bc I doubt I could hold a conversation in sign language today. I had my first child in 1986 and my second to follow in 1988. Both friends and family thought it was silly and a waste of time to teach my babies to sign at first. They just figured if my kids truly didn’t “need” to sign their way through life then what was the point??? Nobody ever thought it odd to learn a new verbal language in school such as Spanish, I don’t know why sign language should be any different. 🤷🏻♀️ As you can clearly see by this video, it’s an excellent tool to teach your baby to communicate while he/she hasn’t quite mastered their verbal skills yet. Most crying fits/tantrums are due to frustration bc babies can’t communicate what they want or need. You may not ever see those terrible two’s if your kid knows sign language. LoL Another quick tip, if you sit your kid(s) down to watch Dora the explorer or their favorite Disney movie (etc..) always have closed captioning turned on whenever possible. This will also teach them verbal skills.. along with reading skills too! 😊
ОтветитьLove how Cashew was being so gentle trying to take the treat from Sage's little hand....while really wanting it and salivating all over the place lol 😁❤ Dogs are just so precious 🥰❤
Ответить😍😍💜💜💜🌌💌
Ответитьthis is so amazing and I love how capable little ones are of knowing what they need, when they need it - the struggle is they aren’t able to communicate it. this is a beautiful way to be able to communicate with your baby and eliminate so much frustration for baby and for you! so valuable, and I can’t wait to do this with mine, I’m due in May.
I bet you could even do elimination communication with this baby sign language method, and it would make potty training much easier since they can communicate their need
Have faith in JESUS CHRIST as LORD and SAVIOR for HE SAVES from hell❗️
What is the Gospel?
The true gospel is the good news that God saves sinners. Man is by nature sinful and separated from God with no hope of remedying that situation. But God, by His power, provided the means of man’s redemption in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Savior, Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of GOD, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Romans 10:9
9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
JESUS CHRIST can come anytime!
Just Believe ❤️ Love you and GOD BLESS
How often do you nurse her and what do you do to keep your milk supply up? I worry if I go too long between nursing sessions, I'll run dry!
ОтветитьPlease don't alter ASL. She's waving because it's babble. just like they can't pornounce words at first when they start to speak, same thing with ASL- it won't be articulated perfectly at first.. keep signing the actual sign even when she doesn't sign it correctly. Also the Deaf community is your best resource. It's their language.
ОтветитьWhat drives me crazy about this is most parents are told my medical professionals to NOT sign with their deaf babies and that is just so detrimental. Language is UBER important. The reason hearing parents do this now is because research showed that hearing babies of DEAF parents had better vocabularies and acquired language earlier as well.
ОтветитьI absolutely agree I’ve been doing this with my 2yo since 6m and it’s grown into manners when he says thank you or you’re welcome he will do the sign and say it as well. I always get people asking me when I started teaching him. Now I’m doing it with my 9m as well and he recognizes he can talk to him. It’s really cool. Good job mama you go!!
ОтветитьThank you for sharing great information! I have been teaching my son basic sign language since he was 6mo and now he is almost 11mo, only sign he knows is Milk. It is difficult for me to teach him sign language because I speak him in my language but in a household, every speaks English. (I speak English to my husband) So I am not sure in which language I should stick with but this sign language definitely help to communicate with him :)
ОтветитьLiterally became a baby channel. I’m out.
ОтветитьAhh I love seeing this! This is one of the best things you can do for your baby. I teach it to all of the kids I nanny
ОтветитьThis is exactly how I train my dog new skills
