You guys could have moved the logs instead of driving over them. Guess you did it as a demo but it looked lazy.
ОтветитьYou still liking the mammoth?
ОтветитьTrip seems a tad boring. Just constantly moving spots.
ОтветитьThis past winter I used one 20# propane tank with my propex. Get yourself a -35 sleeping bag . You can use it for extra padding when it's warm. I do this in wi winters
Ответить1. How do you like the mammoth a year later?
2. Do you have the propane furnace?
Just get out and move that log Jeeze.
ОтветитьPropex heater for the trailer and you’ll be dialed
ОтветитьDo you possibly have the recipes for your beef stroganoff and other dishes you create? We’re getting our Mammoth sometime in the next 3 months. So excited to get out and use it. Love your content!
ОтветитьI'm going full time off grid at the end of March. I have watched countless videos on overland trailers and really haven't seen anyone address living off grid in the Southern heat in something like this. I live in Central Texas and it gets very hot here. I will be taking many trips over weekends and during weeks off. Anyone have any answers to how hot these trailers get in the mid of summer in Texas?
ОтветитьJust found your channel while searching about the Mammoth Overlander Camper. Great channel and now a subscriber.
ОтветитьYour new trailer looks like a cool way to go. The sweet potato hash and beef stroganoff are inspiring me to try them 😋
ОтветитьI Like that jacket..what brand?
ОтветитьNice trailer. Thinking about getting one. What's the name of the clothing brand you are wearing when you exit the trailer?
ОтветитьAwesome thanks for sharing. Trailers are a great option in my opinion because it fixes the issue I guarantee 99.9% of overlanders have, they’re all over payload capacity. A trailer takes all the weight away from the vehicle, people put too much crap in the bed or on their vehicle that in an accident an insurance agent would be happy to point that out that it was unsafe being over the vehicle payload capacity and deny you payment.
ОтветитьBuddy heater to keep warm? Bet your Taco gets around 12 mph? Have to check this trailer out.
Thanks
great stuff man. great camera & editing work. awesome scenery. (you're so lucky to live in the great NW instead of the midwest) haha Keep it up young man. If it were a Tundra, i'd give ya a 10. so i'm gonna have to five ya a 9.9. :) Safe travels pal. im a new sub for life.
Ответитьso nice.. you have my subscribe… Thank you……..
ОтветитьDoes Mammoth Overland have shades for those windows?
ОтветитьGreat vid!
ОтветитьCan't beat camping this time of year
ОтветитьOmg I am in love with your trailer. How long did it take for the manufacturer to build your trailer? We're thinking about buying one. Thanks for any information in advance.
ОтветитьWhat a great video and content it is great to see you David & Micheal having such a great time watching both of your videos I have to say seeing you light that jet bolt right under the paper towels kind of made me step back but ever thing was fine I can see A lot of potential in that trailer‘s future I was think for heat in your trailer I would look in too radiant heat like to stuff that they make to keep tile floor warm in the winter time or attaching a heated seat kit to like a piece of tile to get the radiant heat just a thought. But what a nice trailer and the kitchen kick out is great Glad you both had some time to just chill in the woods have a good one

Can’t wait to get ours. And a road trip to woodinville to boot. My wife and I have camped for many years. From tent camping at Baker Lake campground in WA to using a motor home in the Black Hills of SD. Addressing the issue of the heaters we found that a small ceramic heater for about $20 fits the bill. They are quiet and efficient and they heat very well. Looking forward to May!!
ОтветитьGreat video! That Mammoth trailer makes a pretty strong argument at the price. It's a bummer that it doesn't offer a diesel heater. That would be SO nice for our cold PNW nights. Especially surprising since it's a local company. Still though, it looks like a SUPER cool trailer.
Anyway, great work and keep the videos coming!
Can you guys make real camp fires up there?
Lil propane ones ain’t enough sometimes
Where is this trail located?
ОтветитьCrawling into that trailer at night is a game changer. We love ours. We bought a 12 volt heated mattress pad and it has been good. Enjoyed the video. That’s a beautiful part of the country you guys live in.
ОтветитьGreat video. Congratulations on your new set up. Now you’ll have to plan some really epic meals since you’ve got the full kitchen set up. One thing you may want to consider for sleeping warmer is a 12v electric blanket, I’m sure there’s a 12v socket inside or plug it into a power station. Also I’m sure it’s on your list but you’ll probably want to mount a solar panel on top for extended stays. And to continue rambling there’s a video on the Where’s Wiseman channel (fellow Washingtonians) where they use a small heater plugged into a Bluetti power station to heat their Tear Drop trailer a similar set up may work for you. Tear Drop is a smaller space but if you dedicate a portable power station to a tiny heater and use the house battery to run an electric blanky I bet you’ll be snuggly warm.
Ответитьʀᴇᴀʟʟʏ ɢʀᴇᴀᴛ 🔥🔥🔥🔥
ОтветитьWhat is your plan for heating options?
ОтветитьI’ve seen videos of people having success staying warm with a heated blanket running on a battery… might be worth a shot.
ОтветитьDefinitely a cool set up
ОтветитьLooking forward to this . . . (Duvall WA)
ОтветитьHaving just ordered one, Mammoth misses the mark in mktg. Competitors priced much much higher, have a nice list of standard features. Wonder why propane tank seems to not be plumbed to backend? Are there screens on doors? No mention. One video says 20 gal water another 22gals. They don’t talk about lights, etc
