This is a 5 day Campervan Road Trip, to Morvich in the Scottish Highlands in our VW California Ocean. This is Day 1 of the Campervan adventure consisting of a Road Trip from Dunfermline, in The Kingdom of Fife, to Morvich in Kyle, the Scottish Highlands. Our first stop on the journey was made to admire the Highlands landscape from the Laggan Dam viewpoint. We then moved on to the Glen Roy cafe in Spean Bridge where we enjoyed a hot drink and a sausage sandwich. Not long afterwards we parked up the Campervan to admire the stunning views of the Highlands mountains above Loch Loyne. The wonderful sight of Loch Duich followed and shortly afterwards we booked into the 'Morvich Caravan & Motorhome Club Campsite'. where we established our pitch (Campervan & Awning) for the next 5 days. Realising that she had forgotten to pack her wine Rooty ordered Big Stoozer to cycle down to Kintail Crafts (the local store) to purchase a bottle or two. #campervan #roadtrip #vanlife #scotland #scottishhighlands

Our planned itinerary for the rest of this Scottish Highlands Campervan tour is as follows:
Day 2. Explore Loch Duich by mountain bike.
Day 3. Mountain Biking Trail in Glen Lichd.
Day 4. We were trapped in doors due to torrential rain (unplanned).
Day 5. Road Trip to The Isle Of Skye. Unfortunately this planned two day trip to the Island now became one and included a stunning MTB trail into Glen Sligachan.
Day 6. Road Trip from Morvich to Dunfermline in Fife.

'Morvich Caravan & Motorhome Club Campsite'. I have included a wee tour of the Campsite facilities that are available in this video and was immediately impressed with how spotlessly clean everything was. The Campsite has absolutely everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Although I did not show the toilet and shower facilities in the video rest assurred they are excellent. Morvich really is a wonderful campsite positioned at the mouth of Glen Lichd and established in a beautiful setting overlooked by The Five Sisters Of Kintail mountain range.
