They literally all ran when the game started. All he has to do was drop it on the ground and make it seem like she dropped it on accident.... I've been thinking this since I was a kid and it has always baffled me how many chances he had to play it off in some way but just failed every time.

"the text was I love you" lol without the proper context being clarified it actually just sounds like he's telling Zoey he said "I love you" to Michael... Like as if it was directed as Michael.

I remember this story very well especially because it used to be an annual event on Nickelodeon when they played it to open the Summer lineup. Admittedly I was never a Chase fan and I see this episode as proof that he was one of the most pathetic characters sometimes. However the story is still funny and relatable in some ways. I also remember renting it from the library on DVD. Maybe someday I’ll watch it again but ultimately I think I’m more of a Logan fan than a Chase fan.

I loved Zoey 101 as a kid. I consider it a dramedy than a sitcom. Even the way the show is filmed is not like your standard sitcom.

As a kid, around 11 years old I LOVED this show with a passion, only got to watch the first 2 seasons before my Dad took away our Cable TV signal, after years and years I watched the rest and I love everything about it (except the episodes with Zoey's pseudo-boyfriend in season 4), this kind of drama was my favorite part as I was a very shy kid and never had the courage to tell my crushes my feelings.
Glad to find someone who talks about the show without saying Zoey is a terrible protagonist or the show was bad or something.

the whole plot is so weak ngl.
the ending is great and them being honest feels right, but the road to get there is so clunky.

of course we kids didnt care if the writing is weak cause we coulnt tell good and bad writing apart but looking back this is convoluted lol

When I was a kid 4-8 at the , I never watched Zoey cause i thought it was for girls I only watched drake and Josh and I did watch I Carly but that’s cause it came out after I already liked Megan, I enjoy these but realize I missed a pretty good show! Lol

honestly spring break up has always been my favourite 2 episodes of the whole show. it's so fun and bittersweet and corny at the same time, and i just love that. it's almost like a core memory for me at this point, and i love giving it a rewatch every now and then even today – especially now since summer's here! 🤭
