I’m glad this Eliza acknowledges how he looks at Angelica in this version. Cause by the end of the show, I’m like, “Don’t you wonder why Angelica was able to give you so much help in writing about his life? 🧐”

Comparing First Burn to Burn, it's like watching a wildfire start clearing out an entire expanse against watching a candle die out. First Burn feels like this anger/frustration/betrayal fueled anthem but Burn feels like Eliza has just admitted defeat and has no energy to keep the flame alive. Both absolutely songs and both songs will be screamed next time I do karaoke
