Looking for a 996 turbo project right now. Ballpark are 35k average..... back to japanese imports for me haha
ОтветитьBe more honest on your video and less bias the ims bearing is not cheap to fix just for the bearing alone on 2023 prices is more than $800 dollars add labor to that, your price will be somewhere around $1500-$5500 dollars depending we’re you are located and what shop you take it too and what other things need attention during ims bearing replacement.
ОтветитьSave the manuals while pointing at an automatic ? One of several errors. He’s clearly a bog proponent of the 996. Arguably Porsches worst 911 ever.
Ответить“The 964 would eventually give birth to its PREDECESSOR the 993” oh we have a time loop… no wonder the 911 is timeless
ОтветитьI'm never in my life ever ever going to be able to afford a 911. Ever. At all. But if I could I would.
ОтветитьWait till 2024 as prices deflate
Ответитьme watching this knowing damn well i dont have the money to buy one
ОтветитьLove my 85 911 since 2000
ОтветитьIf you can buy a porsche you can also pay for all the others. And if I had the money to buy a porsche probably I wouldn't care about what a person on a video says..
ОтветитьI don't know if this guy was more coked out when he was filming this or when he was editing it. Holy shit.
ОтветитьThere is nothing to watch ,before buying 911 or any other Porsche. You must only check their race history. In all categories on all kind of roads and rallys 911 have over 30 k wins .All next best 5 companies together do not have that much .911 is the best car ever designed. By huge distance .Probably will be not repeated. 911 from 1966 or 2023 you can recognise that is same car model from half a mile. You cannot do that with no one else .No one .Ferrari from 1966 or Corvette or Jaguar or Aston or BMW or Mercedes and same models from 2023 are unrecognisable. Combined with 30 k wins make this car 911 not only on top of the automatic gennuis, but with some huge difference what Probably never will be reached by anyone else. NEVER EVER .
ОтветитьMention "fried egg headlights" lose 20 IQ points.
ОтветитьGreat vid. Note: English grammar and expressions all over the place, tough to listen too; best for the presenter to read a bit more.
ОтветитьBro shouted out 5 of his other videos and we not even halfway thru this one 😂😂
ОтветитьAaaargh: showing a 996 GT3 when talking about the IMS bearing failure...
ОтветитьI need that widow maker
ОтветитьLook at those big eyes, how can you resist her charm? The answer is simple: You cant, and dont just fall in love and become 911 worshipper lol
ОтветитьYour thoughts on the early 1970s 911 T?
ОтветитьIt's nice but I would still want an 87
ОтветитьI tuned in to hear about the 991.1 which didn’t get mentioned 😢
ОтветитьI like the older 911 sports cars. The new ones don't look bad it's just I like older sports cars like my BMW BluE30 325i. The older cars have a better value and they just seem more simplistic. I like the 6 speed manuals but I can deal with a 5 speed. My Bimmer is a 5 speed and is fun as hell to drive.
Ответитьmy favorite is a 991 gen2 cabrio
ОтветитьPlace engine further into passenger compartment--(mostly) in front of rear axle--and then I may designate it a prominent example of excellent engineering.
Ответить'...engine behind the rear axle.'
= poorly designed platform
OK, seven years ago I coulda bought a 911. But I test drove a 2000 996 cabrio and a 2000 986 and preferred the latter on the mountain roads nearby. I shoulda bought both, but nooooo, I was conducting my own personal comparisons buying an NA MX5, two Z3's, three E46's, and even an RX8. I didn't start a channel, but I could have written off most of the expenses. IF I had just bought Porsches: Boxsters at $3-4k, Boxster S at $6-8k, and good 911's at $9-15k, all in running condition! Oh well!
ОтветитьMy pick would be a 930 turbo from 1989 with 5 speed transmission. For me the 930 is the best looking car ever made.
ОтветитьThe Ferrari might eat the Porsche but the Porsche will not have the costly maintenance every five day's you take the Ferrari out. I take Porsche over Ferrari any day.
ОтветитьThe all look the f******g same.
Ответить😂
ОтветитьPOV: You know damn well you can't afford a porsche anytime soon
Ответить996 turbo - best design Porsche ever
ОтветитьThe absolute cheapest manual 996 in Australia is $100k+ (USD$65k)
ОтветитьDear Americans, it is no Pors-ja, but Pors- Che, like Che Guevara, Che not Ja
ОтветитьThe car that saved porsche boxster
ОтветитьО! Как раз собирался к диллеру завтра идти))
Ответить991s around 2017 are the most attractive ones ever made while being a properly modern driving experience
Ответитьa 964 restomod by Singer is now my dream car and the ideal Porsche 911.
ОтветитьIm just gonna watch this despite having no intent to buy a Porsche of any kind
ОтветитьCould this video be any more predictable? Are these your opinions? Or are you just parroting the "safe" messaging to appeal to the masses? As we say in Australia, this video was weak as piss mate.
ОтветитьI have a 2007 tiptronic turbo S I love the car just wish it was a manual
Ответитьwho has money to be just buying porches...4realzzzzz
ОтветитьThese are wonderful and exotic cars. Just make sure that you do not buy a water-cooled Porsche that has an intermediate shaft bearing. When that faulty designed bearing lets go, your engine is burned toast. Also, if you are going to buy a 996 or 997 Porsche, make sure the bores have no scoring.
Ответить996 Turbo 95k miles. Love it.
ОтветитьNot a huge fan of 993 looks. I think they're the worst of the air cooled bunch.
Ответить997 for sure, thanks for the video, very informative !
