This has been an incredible tournament. The top 5 ranked teams in Africa are gone from the AFCON. This is what makes it so exciting. Even the host nation, Ivory Coast, has a chance and they barely got into the knockout stages. The only thing I'm disappointed about AFCON has been the refereeing. It's been mediocre at best....poor if you want to say that. I follow the EPL quite avidly and the refereeing in that league, especially this year, has been terrible at times. I'm sorry, but the referees in AFCON have been worse.
