Michael missed a pun there, a feat with his feet! 😂
ОтветитьI was just 18 when I first saw Neuschwanstein’s picture on the internet, and I thought it was something unrealistically beautiful and too good to be true. Since then, I dreamed about visiting this castle. I am 29 now and made my dream come true this year, it is breathtaking!❤️🥲
Ответитьbeen there one time beautiful castle and also good location as well.
ОтветитьGod almighty but the view of the lake and the forest around it is breathtaking! Such a lovely place; would love to visit it someday.
ОтветитьI visited this castle back in 1979 and the memories still intrigue me. A really cool historical place.
ОтветитьI love antiques, but it’s the ugliest depressing place I’ve ever seen
ОтветитьI remember going to see it when my father was stationed in Germany. It was the first castle I saw inside of. I still have a painting of the castle my parents bought from an artist outside the castle. At 9 years old the castle was magic and Ludwig was my first crush. Sixty five years later he still owns a piece of my heart.
ОтветитьIt’s a shame that there was less than 10 shots of the interior throughout the entire doco and the camera moved so quickly, that it was impossible to see any details. There was no opportunity to take the time to appreciate the majesty, beauty, wonder, awe, inspiration, imagination and quality of craftsmanship, which detracted from the passion of a man who devoted his all to bring his dream to life. I still gave a like though…
ОтветитьI am so romantic, it's my favourite show after The Beauty & the Beast from Disney Classics
ОтветитьI visited three times, first with my wife, then two years later with my wife and daughter. The last time I had bought a 2015 M3 in Münich , we drove to a field near the castle for the obligatory photo. I was fascinated by the area and the castle…
ОтветитьAbsolutely the inspiration for Walt Disney's fairy castle🏰...🎶When you wish upon a 🌟 star🎶🦗
ОтветитьGum on the carpets?
ОтветитьIts amazing how much this young man looks like his predecessor! I will never forget this castle, the work from all the craftman is truly amazing to me. Most beautiful. Im glad i have had the opportunity to see it !!!
ОтветитьIt was the first castle I ever visited. Went there in 1981, during my first tour in Germany (Army).
ОтветитьFantastic documentary!! Neuschwanstein is the most beautiful castle I've been to!! It's magical, fairytale-like, otherworldly beautiful, just stunning!! 💜💙💛💙💜
ОтветитьTartarian castle. Not built in 1869...This castle belonged to a different civilization. Ludwig just occupied castle. Probably couldn't stay too long because it resonated goodness.
ОтветитьI will make it there ❤wait pls i might be slow but i will. ❤my last dream before i get another dream. I will climb that snowy mountain and go to this beautiful castle one of only in the world. I will try to get there. Wait pls
ОтветитьBeen there in 2007. Its like walking into a beautiful dream. Thanks for the history on it never knew that til now
ОтветитьWhat a load of crap. A Masonic lizard lie of great proportion. Once again another low IQ story!
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Impressive for those times and still this time, such intricate detailing. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉❤❤❤🎉❤❤❤🎉
ОтветитьWe were not allowed to take photos inside the castle so my memory is very vague about it! And they rush you through the place so fast ,that you only see the guy in front of you's back. Was a waste of money!!😢😢😢
ОтветитьThis is really interesting!!!
ОтветитьDude probably just had ADHD lol.
ОтветитьAnd slavery never end. When I am looking this castle I can just imagine how many slaves build that thing? And always the same in this world.
ОтветитьIt is beautiful ❤
ОтветитьIt's too bad that if he must have been declared mentally unfit, that he still would have been able to inhabit his magnificent castle.😢
ОтветитьI like the animations
ОтветитьHow does a man like the current Ludwig find a woman that will love him for himself and not his "home"? That is a beautiful and magical castle.
Ответить😲 WOW What a storry😳
ОтветитьI’ve been in that place as a teenager. Amazing castle. I would have liked to have stayed there longer, basically it was just an afternoon tour. Still, it was awesome! Just the bus ride going to it was spectacular.
ОтветитьTruth and facts matters, no blackwashing, no whitewashing
ОтветитьMy Dad was driving me and my Mom through the valley this castle was in and, pulled over in a rest stop, I saw the beautiful castle, my opinion anybody capable of building such a place is not crazy, it was beautiful!
ОтветитьAh yes, the gay vampire's fairy tale castle. Okay, that's a bit harsh, but it is a very unusual case of a prestige project actually being worth the cost, despite the sheer frivolity and the high pricetag.
And yes, I know he was a king, not a count, and he was Bavarian not from Transylvania. His photographs just have a "vampire" look to them. He was even used as a model for a vampire in the fan-made game King's Quest II: Romancing the Stones.
Evelyn ❤
ОтветитьThe CASTLE & it's secrets-NOT a boys family problems (boring)
ОтветитьPoints deducted for dubbing. It just seems disrespecting. Bsides, for most people, English isn't the first language either, so you're just adding a secondary layer of language barrier for them.
ОтветитьMy family and I visited Neuschwanstein 30 years ago. We all really loved it.
ОтветитьIts a miracle it wasnt ruined by nazis or destroyed in ww2.
ОтветитьI believe Ludwig II and his psychiatrist were murdered for political reasons.
His dr most likely diagnosed him as not insane and he woulve again gained power so people killed them both. Most likely strangulation than dumped them in the lake.
Ive gone deep into it. That was my conclusion. Conspiracy and murder.
And it was a wordwide phenomena at the time to dethrone any royal families
It was he end of royalty era around 1900. Now there is like 5 royal families worldwide with this level of power and long reign.
Really interesting documentary. I didn't know the backstory to that place at all. The castle is spectacular but the stories it holds are kind of creepy in a way!
Ответитьit really isnt that old then. 1869 I thought maybe it was up so high like that for defense?
Ответитьi really hate documentary replacing the native tongue with English du|m|b.
ОтветитьI don't know know who that was handling the blueprint, but I can't believe it's being kept folder. or that he would unfold it with such little care. That document should be stored flat and protected.
ОтветитьNeuschweinstein
ОтветитьVisited this castle twice; so beautiful! Also visited the Linderhof and sprained my ankle coming down the spiral steps in Hohenschwangau.
ОтветитьThis poor bastard should have been groomed his whole life to become king! Parents fault!
ОтветитьIt was very cold and very overcast; evening was already well on its way. It was the dead of winter and very heavy snow was once again covering everything around. Everything was white, the castle, the trees around us, and of course the ice and snow-covered road we were on; everything was just shapes, a brilliant white blanket covered just everything. I was a southern California boy, I'd never known cold like that. I remember covering my mouth, trying to warm the air as I breathed, it actually hurt. I was just a 12 year old kid. Fantasy was my whole world though, so Ludwig's castle was just right for me. And those dense and dark creepy forests so evident in Grimm's Fairytales were no made-up fake place or land, they are all - all too real. I'm sure it all looks different in Spring or Summer. On the other side of the mountain is that huge lake alright, but it of course was completely covered over with ice. The climb up was a bit spooky. This was ~ 60 years ago, so no-doubt it all may well be different today. But the inside of that place, unbelievable. I'm not gonna get detailed or anything, but I really don't think that any fantasy or imagination would best it's reality, the place really is something out of a fairy-tale story. The only other thing I remember from that day was a little very German bistro at the foot of the mountain. I'd never eaten Deer before, I felt kinda weird, like I was a cannibal or something; yeah I know, I'm weird I guess. But I'm not surprised at all that Bavaria Germany has the reputation as a truly beautiful place. It was the most beautiful place I had ever seen. It still is. Or was.
ОтветитьBeautiful mind, produces beautiful items,of many things,
ОтветитьI blessed to get to visit Neushwanstein twice back in the 1980s. What reall y impressed me was the amazing artwork hand painted all over the walls and ceilings. It was stunningly beautiful. Absolutely breathtaking 💜
ОтветитьKing Ludwig was a builder??
