Classic example of a bass player trying to EQ their tone found n the studio to a live a setting. It never fucking works. Way too much bass, no mids, no treble with a pick. Sounds like a flappy fart constantly with a Thunderbird. Shavo would've rounded it out with more mids, less bass, more treble and found his place in the mix. Would've been easy to ab/y swap for the flappy sound for parts too.... Just sounds low pro.
