Oh, this woman is TOTALLY preaching the gospel right now, with the while marriage thing. My husband and I started dating 19 years ago (March of 2005, for context), and got married 14 years ago. Oh, dear God, I get what she means about the throwdowns. It REALLY doesn't help matters that I am predominantly of Irish and Scottish descent, and he is Sicilian, a 1st generation American. Oh, it is NOT pretty. We don't have kids, but do want one. Maybe 2, tops. THAT is gonna get interesting.....
