Kate McKinnon is a genius comic actress. I haven’t watched SNL regularly since the turn of the millennium, but I love her performances. My favorite skit of hers is this alternative ending to Casablanca opposite J. K. Simmons. The writers (maybe she wrote it?) gave her great lines, she’s completely over the top, and Simmons plays it amazingly straight without breaking. Brilliant send up!

This is pathetic. SNL is at best okay on a good night. Casa Blanca is one of the greatest movies ever made. They have nothing to say about it worth a damn.

Judging by the other comments, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I think Kate McKinnon is overrated, at least as far as her impersonations are concerned. Instead of trying to imitate the person in any way, she just acts over-the-top weird and goofy. Her Rudy Giuliani, Ruth Bader-Ginsburg and Ingrid Bergman are all just generic weirdos in different costumes and makeup. In contrast, JK Simmons did a great job with his Bogart impersonation.
