So a war, is a war, unless you choose not to call it a war…
Ok, I’ll have to talk to my grandfather about the Second World Special Operation he fought on… he’ll be confused

Extremely perverted logic. To make the residents of Ukraine go against their own (they are the Russian people) they even cultivated the neo-Nazism of the Basics. So why go against your own? Who needs it? If I don't want to fight with my brother, father, son, I don't become a monster, I just don't fight.

Tucker Carlson is very respected in Russia, we are not so stupid as not to know that this is a common surname, something like Ivanov for Russians. If some people make memes, it's not to humiliate him. Russians like to make jokes, but not to humiliate a real honest and brave person.

I must say, I never heard tc say war, he said conflict, invasion and others but not special military op and not war. Next time I won't smoke a joint at every nato.was there a bunch of weird loud laughing? It was creepy AF and I appreciate your eagle eye on the language that me and Cheech missed? I promise despite my withered American brain, I made it through the whole thing whole thing (he bored me and I have minor in northern European history. His interpretation of important events like Kiev Rus and distribution of land, etc ...he was not as confident as I have been able to discern in his academics as his political beliefs. I'm not sorry for having seen this interview but I don't think most Americans will be talking about Carlson not Putin, and it changed nothing for anyone. I can't imagine what Carlson had to agree to. Good to know translation was appropriate ❤from Prince George VA!

Thank you for your measured and thoughtful response to the interview, or lecture, however one can put it. These are intricate matters that go way above the average ADHD riddled Tik-Tok addicted American's head. I do agree that Putin did kind of make Carlson look like a little b@tch, but honestly I have never seen any interview with Putin where he didn't make the other person look like a little b@tch!

For anyone interested in this topic I suggest looking at political commentator Candace Owen's take on the interview. Not particularly because of her comments but because of the hilarious way she pronounces Putin's name. She repeatedly calls him Vladimir Poo-in. I guess she has trouble pronouncing the letter T. Most of the time you can kinda get by in life not being able to pronounce a certain consanant but when you literally can't say a famous world leader's name properly and you are a political commentator it gets a little strange...

Putin either missed badly with this by not understanding his audience, or he is truly going senile. This was such a strange interview and he comes off as a rambling old man. People on the right are going to come off as less supportive of him after this here in the states because they see he's not playing 4D chess, he is just an old man going senile. They wanted to see a strong man talking about the deep state and how Putin is trying to stop it, instead we got *this*. Even Tucker seems shocked, and it will be interesting to see if he continues his staunch support of Putin after this train wreck.

I'm not sure if you fully appreciate that Carlson wasn't about to confront Putin in any way. He was there strictly for the ratings and for those in the US who lean toward Putin as a friend of Trump's, someone Trump can bargain with to the benefit of the US (haha). Carlson was there strictly for the ratings, which included pandering to Putin as a necessity.
Thanks for your commentary (and the subsequent one which tells all about the "Carlson" cartoon character! Very funny!.

Ответить
@RSEFX
@RSEFX - 19.02.2024 03:32

JUST TO underline the point: Carlson is pro-Putin by proxy. He is that way because, as a super-supporter of Trump, he HAS to be. And, of course, that explains why he was Mr. Soft Balls, questin-wise, with Putin.
As far as Trump no dodging questions "as with Hillary": Trump simply yelled at the questioner and called them "fake news" and made up whatever story that might get him votes. In other wors, ZERO integrity.
I'm not sure that Putin would have taken the steps he did re: Ukraine if he didn't feel he had a major US "force" (Trump and his allies) acting as a "softening" agent (ie softening the US public's attitude toward dictators) entangled in our US culture. Trump's acceptance of Putin may have emboldened the Russian leader to take action in Ukraine. ...or at least mitigate it to some extent.

Thanks for this. Its great to have the perspective of someone who is from this region. The Russia joining NATO question was interesting. Of course it doesn’t make sense bc NATO was formed out of fear of a Soviet advance into Western Europe. Once the Warsaw Pact dissolved you could argue what is the function of NATO now? Is it to subjugate Russia after the collapse or is it because even though Russia was weakened after the collapse it was is and always has been a gigantic historical aggressive geopolitical power to be feared and defended against? I think I understand why Russia took Crimea after their guy was kicked out of Ukraine. It was unacceptable for them to lose access to the naval bases there and strategic access to the Black Sea. It was an invasion but at least the motive makes sense. Thanks for this video. I’m still trying to understand this awful war

Putin says he has information. Maybe info came from spy imbeded in America. You expect him to tell you the name of his spy? Much of what you're said here is naive.
Putin anticipated the typical Western journalist who would twist his words....and his responses indicated this reality. And true to form, a short time after the interview, Carlson has been seen throwing Putin under the bus.
Why don't you investigate Zelenskyy and his relationships with the oligarchs? And where are those 100s of billions of dollars gone that've been sent to Ukraine by America?
Or are you afraid the Zelenskyy regime will make you disappear? LOL
