This was me a month ago. Brassy fluorescent bleed marks all over my hairline. I waited two weeks and went to a different stylist - it is now so much worse. 😔 She did more highlights and A LOT of toning. I now have greyish purple hair. At this point I’m wearing a wide headband and just waiting for my hair to grow. This feels like throwing money away.

Omg, I just got my hair done and it did not turn out as I wished! I actually want it like you did in this video. I don't know where to get my hair done right. I'm in the Seattle area. Can you give me suggestions? My hair is highlighted cool on top and ends are yellow. Stylist used ash toner, despite my concern about ash. Please send help. Sos.

The first stylist who created that awful mess...was actually THERE for the color correction so she could learn!!! That is fabulous. Taking ownership, and learning to not make the mistakes again. Brilliant, and kudos to that person! And as a layperson, I can say that I easily see the client has very thick and wavy/curly hair...99% sure that makes highlighting extra challenging.

Beautiful job. I love how humble you are and wish more were like you. The world would be a better place for it. One thing I will say is girl.... You can talk a mile a min. It was almost hard to keep up. Totally not being ugly either. I just thought to myself damn she's on point... I can't even think that fast. I have a situation my hair turned out like the end result of your beautiful client however the warmth looks horrifying w my skin color.

There's level 7,8 lowlights that look warm on my platinum instead of ashy and cool.

What can I use to remedy the warmth of "lowlights"

I do have a question this can take at least 2 hours in specially for longer hair and so messed up … it’s not dangerous to leave the bleach on for so long ? I did something similar and I removed first foils and sprayed it with water .. what is that you recommend? 🙏🥰

I did ash highlight on my virgin black hair but it shine like gold and I don't like it... how can I fix it... I didn't finish one month yet.

Having had that done to my hair I don't think any client should have to pay for that, I had a seasoned stylist burn one entire section of my hair off and I'm still dealing with it. Doing anything like that to anyone's hair is appalling. Thank God for Jamie Dana, this woman's hair is beautiful now, sometimes you don't get that lucky.

This is exactly what happened to me new hairdresser I told her when I walked in for my highlights that I wanted the same blonde well it turned out a shade darker then what I wanted I was not happy at all

I love the way this turned out and watching your channel, but my question is how long is your application process and how long do you let the bleach sit on? I am a new hairstylist and that’s my main problem because I’m always afraid to do bleach damage😢😢😢❤

Not a stylist here, but love hair:) always wondered.. how do you put low lights or root toners on w bleach, and rinse WITHOUT the darker tones ruining the new highlights before those new highlights are toned? I would assume the bleached areas would be so porous and absorb that lowlight/ root toner instead of staying blonde?

Bravo to you. Your work is excellent! You know how to see color ranges which is very important and your not afraid to enhance the hair to another level. You have great knowledge of what your doing and you listened well early on. I can see you love what you do. It takes a special eye for this and knowing your products a mixtures as well. Well, the hair stylist and I completely miscommunicated and I ended up with extremely light highlights making me look much older. My previous hairstylist had to redo the highlights also. Just trying to blend the very dark parts in the back with the extremely white/grey in the front. Color correction here was beautifully done! I feel hopeful!

Where are you? Lol I need you in my life! My sister pulled my hair through a cap, now ends are white and some areas, especially around front hairline, are goldy-yellow! Ugh. I should have learned.

A hairstylist ruined my hair and I actually have PTSD. My highlights are blotchy and the thought of having someone touch my hair is alarming

I had no idea how this was going to turn out and was so fearful her hair would break in places where hair looked so fragile, kinda burnt, and extremely light already but it turned out beautifully. Knowing what to do in conjunction with quality products made such a huge difference. Excellent work.

I recently had this happen on extreme long thick hair. There was more hot spots than I thought.
Mostly the volume and length took 5 hours. However, she mow wants me to cover it all back to original color and give some of her money back.
I don't quite no how to handle this? Giving up 5 hrs and then cover up all of this she wants to redo and color over and give some of her money back.
I really need advice please.
