We should make robots be like robots. We don't need to reinvent humans. We need to fix the ones we already have.

This is all because we decided we are gonna go the technological route. Composed of rotors, transistors and circuits.

The way i look at it human is just another implementation. It's different kind of tech that's so unusual, something that nature built for millions of years.

I personally think biology studies (creation of life from nothing) + AI, To make programmable biological samples is something worth pursuing and the field doesn't even exist yet.

Where we don't use circuits etc instead we use DNA to build chassis and structure and use AI to program its mind. (So it's programmable and controllable) ..

Imagine that if we master DNA and stemcells and we manage to make an empty biological vessel with programmable mind powered by AI models and Quantum chips

If robots are squishy and cuddly I'm gonna buy one 😁😁

Humans have a bad track record overall as a species so I would never want robots to be replicas of humans

I don't understand why people are so scared of robots and humanizing them. I find it interesting that people have such an aversion to the progression of technology that they project their own fears upon something that can very easily be a net good for humanity. I genuinely find talking to AI bots more human than most humans at the moment and I am in college for psychology. The world has been turned upside down and I feel like people are trying to find something to blame or be scared of to try and feel better about the state of the world, and as a result it is ultimately stopping the progression of technology we could have.

I want my robots to look like robots. C3PO is as humanlike as I want my robots. I don't want to cuddle, or develop feelings towards, one.

Can't robots just put up outdoor Christmas lights around my house? I don't want to risk my neck, nor do I want to hire a worker to risk their necks.

Start off each robot as 7.5 lb baby let them grow for about 16 years by then they hopefully have learned not to hurt us. Kinda like the Organic Humanoid Robots that we are…just imagine a 6’ 200 lb baby…could do a lot of damage

Humans do not fully understand how the brain and emotions work. How can we make a robot human if we do not even know how the center of our humanization works?

Humans should first learn to emotionally interact positively with other humans before hugging an unemotional robot. Humans don't need robots as companions so they look like crazy outcasts hugging them. Humans need humans for companionship.
Instead, create robots to help humans in warzones when they are injured or dying to be the best in what you do.

We shouldn't make them too much like a human because if we do, it makes humans uncomfortable. It's called "uncanny valley."
