Compared to the first avatar, the rest are not just fated to fix their past errors but to cause new problems due to lack of either interest or presence. Like the very act of inherit is a leading to them going back to square one.

I like the breakdown but a big fallacy you make here is that you're assuming that having no avatar is the better alternative. The reality is that the moment bending styles were discovered, that was when the need for an avatar became extraordinarily apparent. Because society has not advanced much yet to be able to differentiate the talents of a bender with their personalities yet. Maybe in the modern era with Korra, yes. Because now the power dynamic between benders and non-benders has been the most equal we have ever seen across history. But in the past strong benders 100% had the ability to live like dictators. I mean, realistically what can joe schmuck do to defend himself against a robber that threatens him with a 2 ton boulder raised over his head. I wouldn't even be surprised if strong benders with a god complex were the norm, rather than the exception throughout the Avatar universe. So to prevent such a thing from festering for too long, the Avatar's chief purpose is to instill humility in these people with god complexes, and realise that there is an ultimate authority over them. While there are definitely downsides to this, in the sense that ultimate power and ultimate should not belong to just one person, it is definitely a lot better than the alternative of Bender Totalitarianism.

There are a few solutions to address the inherent problems of the established Avatar system. Two I've seen so far are to have either more Avatars, or for less powerful benders to ultimately have more political power than an avatar. The benefit of the first system is that individual Avatars can now have more time dedicated to specifically address each of the issues affecting every nation, while uniting to deal with international issues. But the downside is that the lack of centralized power can lead to political infighting in the ultimate failsafe for world peace. The pros of the second issue is that having a council that does oversight over the Avatar gives other nations the abilities to address their own issues without needing to rely on the Avatar for everythingg. But the downside with this aspect is that if the Avatar loses too much political power, then any issues that comes up that cannot be addressed by this non-avatar oversight committee cannot be addressed by anyone. It will be really cool to see how the next Avatar series addresses this, as hopefully restoring the connection towards the previous Avatars is a long standing idea that many people think can happen

Lemme tell you, if the avatar world after Korra loses the Avatars for good, it will never be able to fix it at all and a new Avatar will just bring about more war if you think about and this is also true even in Kyoshi’s time or anyone’s time and the spirits will never come back to any world neither, plus their all humans and they won’t always be good or stable in everything.

Avatar didn't create the problems, he solved them, so if there wasn't an Avatar the problem wouldn't be solved and would only get worse, so your point is completely wrong, because by your logic if i failed in test i should not exist.

The show is not about how awesome and perfect the avatar is. This is not a western superhero show.

The whole message is about noone being perfect and even the avatars are human and prone to mistakes and failuire hence should not be treated as deities. Aangs whole arch is him gaining courage and wisdom to redeem himself for running away from responsibility.

Theory: the air nomads knew that they were going to die from the start, because they made the avatar statues from the top down, with Roku being the last, and no more space for future avatar statues.

Each avatar focusing on different areas and fixing eachothers mistakes could be seen as a natural part of the cycle. Just likes the seasons cycle through creating and destroying different parts of nature continuously. Balance doesn't necassarily mean making everyone equal at the same time, but rather maintaining the entire worlds balance accross the ages. In this regard the avatars have done quite well. humanity thrives and mostly lives in harmony with nature and spirits and eachother. It's the cataclysmic world ending events the avatars need to truly worry about and they do. Ang stopped the fire nations genocide and united the world of man, while keeping the spirits in check. It's not their purpose to catch pickpockets and expose corrupt politicians, it's to prevent extinctions, natural disasters, spirit world shenanigans and the like.
