5 min in and I’m so lost
ОтветитьThis taught me more than my vibrations course has so far all semester. Rip fellow Mech E's
Ответить6
ОтветитьIt's one of the most important concepts in my field, above all in electroacoustic analogies for systems as: microphones, loudspeakers, etc.
ОтветитьDanke!
ОтветитьI do civil/structural work but I think a video on thrust/propulsion would be awesome and good compliment to your current aerospace vids.
Ответитьexcellent video! I am curious about what sofwares you used to make the animation?
ОтветитьEverytime I see a demonstration of "Resonance" I have dirty thoughts 😂
ОтветитьI wanna do a masters degree, so I'm here to relearn everything.
Ответитьstatics questions plz in beams??????
ОтветитьThis video just summarized all of my Structural Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering Course of Master's in Structural Engineering in less than 20 minutes ,Well done.
ОтветитьWhat animation use to edit this type of video because i like to teaching in my language educational video of anybody knows tell me
ОтветитьThese are all the same quantities for electrical systems, such as phase, frequency Inductance(mass and Capacitance (Spring Constant)and Impedance(Impedance/resistance). Resonant frequency has 2 signals 180 degrees out of phase
ОтветитьGreat video as always!! Great sir!
ОтветитьWhich one better, McPherson strut w/ double wishbones or Muliti-link beam w/ torsion bars. .or Citreon 's Hydrau-Pneumatics..(!?!).. or Balloon cube.!!
ОтветитьI can not thank you enough for this video. It is pure gold!
ОтветитьWow I’ve learnt the maths for it now I’m learning the theory
Ответитьbut i dont understand how you go from mx+kx=0 to x(t)=Asin((sqrtk/m)t+P) ;u;
ОтветитьWhy is a damping pot named dash pot and not damp pot?😅
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьWhat is tool you use to prepare this animation?
ОтветитьThis subject was in my graduation project from university in Structural Engineering 20 years ago 😊

Great video,
it helped me a lot as a structural engineer student to understand dynamics of structure😊
amazing !!!! my class crdits will charge
ОтветитьGod bless you.
Ответитьplease how can i make this animation
ОтветитьIt's the fundamental knowledge but i see no paper describe these things...
ОтветитьWhere was this video during my bachelor's degree? xD Awesome video. I would have definitely had an easier time with our mechanical vibrations course if this video existed when I was a student.
ОтветитьVery nice explanation
ОтветитьI am a mechanical engineer and your content so incredibly good. This is what everybody shall hear before digging into details during the lectures. Wish you all the best in your life. Thank you.
ОтветитьExtremely helpful to a chemical engineer trying to understand the dynamic systems I am now working on.
ОтветитьExcellent video.....
Ответитьİmpressed. Congrutulations. Tremendous work with concise presentation !
Ответитьone of the greatest channels of all time. engineering wouldn't be the same without you
ОтветитьThis dude covers 70% of the semester in just one video
Ответить👍
Ответитьvery clear
ОтветитьHi I need to draw a free body diagram for my homework. can you help ? If you can get back to my email, I can send you my homework
ОтветитьAre you Indian or American? Any way keep up the good work. Anyone who visits your channel will really appreciate your hard work.
ОтветитьSIMPLY GREAT 👍
ОтветитьPeople complaining about how bad their courses and lectures were are funny. This information is covered in about 5 pages of an intro physics textbook, which can be read for the first time in about an hour. If you spent months to learn it that's on you.
Ответитьexcellent video!! Thanks
ОтветитьVery useful content.
ОтветитьDamping can be suppressed by countervailing forces but can't they also be split similar to acoustic systems like speakers or how the Sydney opera house was designed to dampen acoustic resonance across the entire sonic band? I'm not an engineer but like to make things and tuning systems seems to always be similar to how musical tuning of acoustics works.
Standing waves for instance would be undesirable or even disastrous but can be remedied in acoustics by preventing standing waves or destroying them with an acoustic chamber that has a naturally reductive harmony like phi.
Great video, thanks
ОтветитьWonderfull! !t hanks a lot !!
ОтветитьI NEED ONE VIDEO TO STUDY THE TRAIN WEELS AND LOCOMOTIVE MOTION ITS IN THRE MOTION OF FREE
ОтветитьOne area that is commonly overlooked is how fluid flowing in pipes creates vibration waves that travel the long axis and create standing waves of much greater energy than the flow itself. Outside of high pressure gas being vented the majority of the noise in a process plant comes from this effect. Bearings with defects cause a massive amount of noise because the vibration is transmitted to the piping.
About a month ago one of my multi stage pumps motor bearing failed and started a harmonic in the suction spool that fatigue cracked a vent nipple. I had to do an emergency shutdown before it caught fire. The motor is mounted on a fully grouted plate on concrete. You could feel the ground vibrating 20 feet away
