2021 Highlander Overview | Specs & Features | Toyota

I have a 2021 highlander and in less than 2 years I damaged the transmission BEWARE.

Driver side armrest is way too low it is uncomfortable there's nothing to place your left arm on

I have a 2021 xle n 🙌🏾! Had a 2004 Toyota Highlander before this one.

As a newly in college 18 year old, whenever I can save up enough, this highlander in AWD is my dream car. I can't wait for the day I get to sit behind it's wheel and enjoy it.

Toyota = Please make a larger Highlander. I don't want to buy a Kia Telluride, Chevrolet Traverse, or the VW Atlas. I want the AWD, ground clearance, and MPG of a Highlander with more space. Your loyal customers with families need your legendary dependability in a larger package. I don't need a truck based SUV like the Sequoia.

Disappointing that Australia isn't getting the same infotainment* in the Kluger (what we call the Highlander Down Under) Hope Toyota Australia picks up their game in that department.

I love my new 2021 Highlander Platinum as well. My only issue is the wind noise whistling starting a 45 mph. Have you experienced this?

I have a case with Toyota Headquarters and my local certified dealer is looking into this, other customers had same issue, and mirroring isolation noise solved the issue. Hope to get this resolved soon… I will get you updated.

Definitely a nice vehicle. I have the Limited. Interior is finished very nice. Great ride and comfortable on long trips. Couple of things that probably could have been done a little better but over all a very nice car in it's class.

Just bought a new Highlander Limited and two days later learned that it HAS NO CD PLAYER! Unhappy that the salesman didn’t tell me.

Did they forget to add some speed limit signs in the Road Sign Assist????....when I pass 65 MPH signs, nothing appears....I would have thought that any sign between 10 and 70 at 5 MPH increments would have been available....maybe an update is in order.

In terms of balance of the exterior design, the older version was much better...the new one is just too big, everything is over dimensioned...as if bigger is better! Not a fan..
