Just to add to what Dr Taraban is trying to say: the only real way for us older gents to attract women 20+ years younger is to get them into our "territory" where we're the main act. Example, the middle-aged boss who dresses nice is the center of attention among the women in the office; the charismatic professor whose thought-provoking lectures turns on some of his female students intellectually and sexually; or the older musician playing his instrument very skillfully wins him some female fans...We got to be in our "zone" where women get to witness what we're good at. On the other hand, hanging out at bars or cafeterias and trying pick up lines with women isn't going to work for us older fellas no matter how successful and wealthy we may be.

Yes we all die alone, but being alone leading up to death is another completely different thing, and nobody wants that.

"Country Club" - doesn't exist, in the UK it's a pub or a Church or nothing.

I'm 45 and wander what "clubs" you think are relevant for meeting younger women. I noticed that even though I am quite a social guy and have many venues that I participate or even manage and lead, age gap is still a barrier regarding romantic relationships. I will try to dat in a different country soon as this might be a location issue in western countries, but I do wander if you have a different experience.

Some old man named Joe ended up with a young mindset son of their own on earth. Like the great I AM. Both of whom were great at doing carpentry. Never met him and his son in person yet. Others don't have a young mindset like that at all. Some odd young men around seem to behave as if they might be a clone of their old man with biases unless they are only the eldest of around age 14 while having to grow up during a lot of chaos around. Some grow up after growing up in a situation like that. Others seem to remain at the level of only age 14.

Im 70 and find on dating sites women are extremely messed up in their heads. These sites are discrimatory. A woman can say I dont like this, this, this and this, a man is censored if he does the same.
Women 60 plus are as fd up as 20 yearolds, many seeking younger men with a high criteria, yet they have not got the goods to offer. 90% say they look younger than their age, are attractive and fit, when its untrue. Im no looker but I get rejection from 60 to 80, yes, 80 yearolds block me😂 NUTs. Oh, my profile is 1.85m fit, healthy, solvent, own home, hair, hobbies, educated and I come in beard free mode too.

If you are so unsuccessful at dating that you are decades behind in dating experience, then you are inevitably going to be too old for the women you would even be compatible with. I know Dr. Orion won't be able to answer that conundrum.

I'm the old man at the club (so to speck). But I don't want to get married, don't want to live with a woman and love being single so I'm happy! There is way more to live then woman and when you get one you almost always loose more then you gain. When you understand how it work, the idea of a long term partner is not so attritive anymore. I still go out with woman, go on a few trips, have fun now and then. But I could care less if they are seeing someone else. STD's? I got all the vaccinations get tested every 3 months, there is not a whole lot to worry about today. Never tested positive for an STD yet. Pregnancy remains the biggest threat, way more then STD's to men!

Everybody knows that you die alone, but the diference is until the last second you have companionship or you don't have...

I stopped going to the "clubs" at 25 (I'm 46 now), that being the nightclubs which were not my scene even as a young guy. I've met tons of women in other settings. The old guy at the club is just typical shaming language to get guys to settle.

At my age now, I also feel like I've aged out of "dating". Not to say I'm going monk mode or anything, just that the typical dating process isn't really valid for me anymore. I'm still open to meeting new women and have some in my life currently that are great. I'm just not about to try dating apps/sites or any of that nonsense. I've had many relationships from very brief to many years and am very content with all my experiences and look back fondly. I just don't feel to the need to be out there trying to date in the traditional sense anymore. There's a certain peace and liberation to that feeling.

Young women feel disgusted because old men exist ? What are you talking about ? If i want to go to any cultural activity i will do it, no matter how old i am. And yes usually i find myself around people in student age because my taste in music and other things has not changed. But i prefer to walk in nature, maybe that has changed, but no, i did that in my 20s too.

A mate of mine who is very tight-fisted with his money would be busting to get his internet dates to his prestigious country property. Strangely enough he always attracted women from failed relationships with young children from sometimes multiple different men who were financially broke. Now he is the drop off to school dad in his sixties even though he has retired.

A female friend of mine who zi have know for decades snd is a decent person married an older man who was nasty to her during their dating period of about two years causing her to constantly become upset. She married him despite being physically the opposite that she used to say that she found attractive. He was short, underweight, married four times previously and a drinker and a smoker. He was however in a very high paying salary package, luxury car, overseas travel, an allowance for her etc. she doesn’t present as a gold-digger but I guess just couldn’t bring herself to marry a man with less resources.

The idea of people in their 30s as old is comical and ridiculous. People are still like a teenager in their 20s. They're not kids but they're not fully adult until 30 or so. Also, your 20s usually sucks and your 30s is a blast.

Fear of dying alone refers to the idea that a person dies prematurily and in great suffering only because no one was near, while if there was someone near, that person could have survived and live for a few more years. The bitterness of this unfairness is the real problem

Seems to me that men are a little slow to realize this. Yes, a man in his thirties at the club is CREEPY. For normal decent women, the ones who want a daddy are usually on a stage or a street corner. This is outstanding work. As a 47 y/o surfer, I very rarely go to bars and never go to clubs. However, I go to the beach often and tend to do very well there as a fit, knowledgeable and empathic guy who is open to mentorship and friendship.
