Drag racing is fo freaking boring, Cornering is where the fun of driving lies. Not if a car gets to a line 0,1s faster than another.

So the most powerful car won.... surprising ? What if you used the 4 cylinder Cayman... not sure result would have been the same. And I don't know what your colleague from Spain did but the Alpine knows how to drift, there is a bunch of vids around of A110 sliding in corners... Strange....
And last point, drag race does not really mean anything except for US people. In Europe, roads are twisty, bring the cars in the mountains and compare again. You will have beautiful scenery and far more fun ;)

I drive daily a toyota... never drove any of the 3 , yet . I'm just admiring this content and I'm thinking honestly in two directions ... they are pretty close as price and as performance...so probably in traffic conditions, the difference in " performance" will reduce to driver's skills. If the Alpine would have 350 Hp ,might be in advantage, but that would imply a bigger engine... and as I can figure out, Renault as a group made a name by taking in consideration tax/ regulation limits and probably reliability ?...so ... there's that. Thank you for the opportunity to make an opinion.

Before watching this I am gonna guess that the French car gets it ass kicked because its not in the right class of cars for this race and should be racing against a GR86 and MX-5 and a WRX. This is the competition IMO. Lets see how it did now. As I suspected the Alpine came in last in all of the races because the idiot driving the supra cant drive. I would love to see it race against its peers and not a bullshit race like this.

Hope the Alpine was in Track mode, not in Sport or Normal mode (just have to push a button to switch from a mode to another) !
