I finally could make time to watch this Korean gay short film.
The teaser is really misleading, because this short film was NOT about a polyamory relationship; is just about an intended closed threesome. And it was NOT about an asexual person either, but more about a virgin boy trying to find out himself and his sexually.
The most interesting part on this triangle is the lack of desire and communication we get from it. Is like they don't belong together at all, like there is a permanent barrier that won't allow them be completely free while being together. The dialogue on Freund and its old fashioned theory on sexuality felt overly intellectual and out of place to me. I was expecting them to talk about themselves, and not about some abstract theory... but the director had another idea in mind. Which one...? I can't really tell. Since we have no idea how they got to know each other; or how they got into a threesome is impossible to say what is the true nature of their foundation.

In western productions there are two ways into a threesome:
(1) Because of a strong sexual desire amount all three partners as the basis for a good relationship that in time grows up into a powerful love. Or...
(2) A single boy that is roommates with a gay couple that over time fall in love altogether.
We have Gay films like the Argentinian "El Tercero" (2014) following the first pattern, and films like CAS (2017) from the Netherlands following the second way. In both ways of presenting such storylines the threesome happens naturally. Is never forced into happening. BUT here is like they don't share anything at all: Watching a horror film together fails, music and dancing didn't help much either... the picnic feels incomplete... and the sexual scene was completely rushed and unprepared considering they have a virgin in the room with fluid issues. In the end the big question made by MINHO remains completely open:
Is he joining the threesome because he wants too... or because they would like him to do so?

Right now there's a lot of people who are meeting more than one person they feel a bond with. You have to ask yourself 'why is that happening and is it right?' I have met people whom I felt a connection to and made me question monogamy til l learned those 'connections' - metaphysical terms-are false soul connections used to destroy sacred union relationships, straight or gay, because sacred unions are true energy bonds.
