The Quest 4D sole is too stiff, for me it's difficult to walk 8 Km in this boots. I can walk 30km in light sport shoe no problem.

Buy none, Salomon is trying to make a comeback but they Keep making crappy shoes. I thought they were better. I used them for 20 minutes , the arch has sharp edges up to the side I never felt this in other shoes. My suggestion, get something else.

I now have 5 pairs of the Speedcross 6 - they are AWESOME!!! My hubby has two pairs and we both think they are the most comfortable, yet "secure feeling" shoes we have ever worn! Normally I would not buy so many of a type of shoe, but I love these so much, I want to make sure I have enough to last me years and years. It seems that usually when I find something I really like, and use them until they are getting worn out, then go to buy the same thing, it can't be found.
