If the Buckeyes win it all in the playoffs what is to keep Day in Columbus with all the NFL teams looking for a HC especially with the way he and his family are being treated? I personally think he is too loyal to leave even after winning a Natty because he wants to beat TTUN so badly that it is effecting his game plan in that game and of course the players must buy in and execute. Almost every program in the nation would love to have him. He has coached and put several QBs into the NFL and the QB is the most important position in the game.

I still haven't heard a solid explanation on why they were so stubborn with the runs. All of his answers were either rather vague or a bunch of "yeah, perhaps we should've run less". In the game, why did you not see what the fans were seeing? Those were a bunch of wasted downs. The crowd was booing in the first half. Why didn't you go back to the halfback route that Henderson gained big yards on? Why didn't you try to lean on Smith who drew 2 pass interference calls? Why no quick slants? The only apparent explanation is that they didn't trust Howard.

This is why you Don't fire Day. Almost 80 percent winning percentage. A great staff and all these recruits. Now the transfer portal. Better respect him and realize there are a lot of programs he could go to. Ryan is a class act.
