I enjoy picking up my goose and imagining I'm playing the bagpipes.

If it's a business. It's not a homestead. Homesteading is farming for personal use.

After having both geese and ducks I can safely say, they are much different from each other. Only a few similarities I can say about them is they both swim, look mostly the same with specific species of ducks and geese, they both lay eggs and both can eat grains, other than that tho, they don't really have anything in common. Geese mostly like eating grass, they have a much different voice and can be really loud, they are really aggressive towards anything who they don't know, they are fairly big and they don't really eat bugs or worms, they also like to follow you around if they like you. Ducks on the other hand not that really aggressive, they are mostly quiet, they may eat a bit of grass, but they really like eating bugs, they are almost always around or in water, much much more than geese do, they are really small, I think if they follow you or not maaaybe depends on the duck breed and maybe how you raise them. All and all these 2 are waay different animals from each other. I think the only reason why people mistake the 2 from 1 another is because a few breeds of them look very similar to each other.

A few points right off. It is not a geese, it is a goose. A baby goose is a gosling and the birds shown at 2.14 are swans not geese. Does not inspire confidence

Orlando, Florida: As of 2023, goose eggs are $7+ each, and babies are $25+ each. Fancy geese such as Sebastopol are $200+ each.

I looked it up, geese lay 30 to 50 eggs yearly, almost exclusively in spring! Much less if u let them set

Geese don't lay all year! Spring hatches! Prove by Canadian Geese migration!
Ducks rarely lay daily either, few breeds kept for eggs

$3 per gosling? Not sure where this person got their info from but where I’m from (USA), baby geese go for $20-$30 each on average!
