yii2 application components - yii2 tutorials | Part 3

Very interesting video as always! Now a brief definition of how and why to use components in yii2 would be good, since I have read a bit and say some forums that can be used as to replace the service layer that other frameworks can have in other languages, since yii2 is a component based framework. There are some conceptual definitions in Yii2 that are different from those used in other frameworks. So I would like to know to increase my level of experience, in which cases it is recommended to use these components and some possible real scenario. Thank you! I know I ask a lot but it is because I see that you have a lot of knowledge. Regards!
