in my 26 years of life, i never saw an action scene that perfect before. how didnt i watch this movie before

den of thieves is better. you dont really get a sense of the spacing in this scene. And what they are trying to do or where they were going.

I’ve heard this movie be praised for the sound of its guns and I must say it definitely lives up to the hype. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a movie or even video game that made me feel like I was in the middle of an actual shootout

One of ,if not the best shoot out scene in cinema history, no music just the noise, weapons handling from the actors was superb, Andy Mcnab the team definitely earned their pay for that scene

This scene and the opening of Saving Private Ryan have to be in the top 5 most amazing scenes of all time.

THE Best shootout scene ever

I always wondered why Val Kilmer puts on his mask later than the other two guys

This scene inspired the entire story of Grand Theft Auto V

Overall the shoot out in and on itself with a lot of details is pretty much the most realistic of a firearm combat situation in cinema history.
My only "issue" is how the situation was involving police officer in civil being the first at place and already in position with advantage and how messy it got so fast without any of the bad guys being hit before their car started though.

To many bullets missed that would have been most certainly hits in real life for decently trained shooter. But that would have made the scene too short I guess. :)

Love Val Kilmer in this scene.

Such a great scene the gunshot sounds are so realistic and loud. But got to laugh how the cops walk down the street with ARs and shotguns and nobody in the street screams or runs around making noise before the ambush
