Yippy’ another 6.5cm build 🥱 I’ll wait for the long action to be available so I can disassociate myself from the 6.5’er vs 308’er hater groups. Seems like a waste of money to build a 5k short action that will barely outperform a ruger american or savage axis build. Juss sayin……
ОтветитьHave been using the triggertech primary in my creedmoor and switch to the diamond and all I can say it’s far superior and well worth the pricetag
ОтветитьDo yall read my mind? I was just looking at most of these parts. I'm looking forward to future videos.
ОтветитьThe aftermarket for the 700 is really something. It truly is the small block chevy of rifles.
ОтветитьProvide a parts list!!!!!
ОтветитьGreat video thank you. I am going to start a build for a bolt action and this is great timing.
ОтветитьYou know what I think I'll just buy a bolt gun lol I was considering building
ОтветитьYes! This is Exactly a series I need!
ОтветитьFinally, people are applying AR15 concepts to other weapon types.
ОтветитьTerminus Zeus, trigger tech diamond, mpa matrix chassis, and a custom heavy contour barrel… .2 or less at 100.
ОтветитьSo Solus will work in an MDT Chassis??🤔🤔🤔
ОтветитьIs the Solus a standard action or has it been built with accuracy in mind?
ОтветитьDang it, Caleb. This is EXACTLY the video series I did not need to see. Lol. I've been fighting off the urge to build a nice bolt action rifle. I guess there's no fighting it now.
ОтветитьThe Savage barrel nut system makes it super easy to put together an amazingly accurate rifle, without having to take it to a gunsmith for chambering and installation. With a set of go/no go gauges, I got a Savage pre-fit from Shilen, and put it on a Savage 110 tactical action, in 6mm creedmoor. Shoots lights out!! 115 grain DTAC’s with H4350 can stack shot after shot right on top of each other!
ОтветитьCaleb is like a kid in a candy store with this stuff. LOL
ОтветитьSmall action? Booooo
ОтветитьProof is making a pre-fit specifically for this action now
ОтветитьAs gas operated guns are continually under attack, it may not be a bad idea to own a bolt gun.
Ответить6mm Creedmoor?
ОтветитьAICS REM. 700 stock?
ОтветитьThis might be a dumb question, but I'm also a new lurker. Is there anywhere I would have to go to get newly made parts for k31? I don't want to mess with historical pieces. So, if possible, I'd rather try and have a whole new one made with more modern parts.
ОтветитьOf all the stocks that you mentioned, are they all compatible with the barrel, nut and trigger hanger? Or do some need to be modified?
ОтветитьYou are assembling a rifle not building one.
ОтветитьAs a “built not bought” type of guy, its depressing to see the price of the action and bolt.
900 chucks, if it was 5 or 6 I’d be all over it already, 700 I’d think about it, anything over that just doesn’t make sense. It will be cheaper and better value to just buy the rifle from aero then do what you need to do it..
i just got a proof 6gt prefit on my solus action and it headspaced perfect.
ОтветитьCan’t you shim a barrel that won’t close on the go gauge or does that destroy accuracy?
ОтветитьAm i the onlyone who noticed the at4 in the safe 😂
ОтветитьAs a heads up, the closed captioning is out of sync. For example, while the video shows triggers, the text is talking about optics and mounts
ОтветитьSeems a majority of the actions out there are short action. Makes it tough for those of us who want long action.
ОтветитьI would use a Boyd’s stock I love a thumb hole laminate stock
ОтветитьIt really sucks that Aero doesn’t offer a long action magnum action. I want to build a 7mmPRC
ОтветитьIm trying to figure out what action i can use for a .300 blackout build
ОтветитьIm here for the AT4 is the safe!
ОтветитьGreat video....well done Brownells
ОтветитьI'd want a "pre-64" Winchester action, or something very much like it!
I've got enough "push-feed" guns already 😢
The amount of interchangeability and adjustability appears amazing! Is there a way to do a video showing how/if the tolerance stack-up between parts compares to an action like a factory Remington or Savage action and a precision action like a Stiller, PT&G, or BAT?
ОтветитьI wish the CC matched what was being said. Good info though. I wish Aero would introduce a left handed version. I would have one in my collection if so.
ОтветитьHow refreshing to see a video with such a clean-cut young man. Without going back through all three videos (about 1.5hrs total), will you provide a build list of all the components for this build with prices (as-built)? Also, a list of the specialty tools you used and their prices. It may be above my pay grade, but I won't know unless I ask. Thanks for doing a great on all your videos.
ОтветитьWouldn't be soul less if you painted it? My .02
ОтветитьIt’s so unbelievably frustrating that there are no affordable rifle actions available. It’s cheaper to buy a Remington 700, savage, or Howa and get a custom barrel, that it is to just buy an action.
ОтветитьWith out any Brownell links this video is a bit useless. Finding parts about the build on their web site sucks and since your selling Brownells and we know it give us all a break and provide quick links to help buy the parts.
Ответить6 months ago I was going thru forums trying to learn how to build a light weight precision rifle.
I was doing my head in with the amount of information I was getting.
This video is a blessing and has gotten me back on track into building a long range 6.5 creed. Thank you guys!!!
Are we not going to talk about the AT4 in the safe lol
Ответитьi really appreciate this video. thanks
ОтветитьPlumbers nut barrels have come so far its amaizing.
ОтветитьLast 3 chasis sold me
ОтветитьI sure wish he would mention some prices.
ОтветитьMDT XRS is gorgeous, but their website isn't very good at selling it. There are no pictures of it on the frame's web page, you have to go find it in accessories under MDT XRS TIMBR Kit (And it's an extra 250).
ОтветитьThis is exactly the video I was looking for. Thank you for sharing.
