Here is where the angst comes in. Some YT artists promote "loose" and "short, scratchy line" drawings especially when talking about "line and wash".
Next, some advocate using pencil for the initial drawing, then going over those lines with ink. Then out comes the eraser to remove all the pencil lines.
Sigh. Confusing to anyone just entering this realm. Proko, obviously has a different POV.

I never watched your long form videos, so I never knew how useful they are, wow
This is only the first video I've seen, and I feel like my brain just got injected with so much informations and knowledge, and I'm so inspired and full of uhh, this word that I forgot
I guess it was passion but I'm not sure what passion even mean so
ANYWAYS just thought that this video was GREAT and I'll definitely be taking advice for it in my practice and always give credit to who I'm learning from💕

Rotate your paper is very important. I learned this from my grade school art teach 40 years ago.
My 10 year old self being a lefty had issues with getting good lines.
He was super helpful. This one thing has always been a big help. And now with apps like procreate rotation is easy.

I just hate the first set of mistakes. One is being too careful, the other is just 'lets get it over more or less'. It is a question of confidence. After you have mastered gestural guide, it helps with quick renderings falling into place.
