Never seen anybody do so much violence to a guitar, as also reflected by the ugly contortions of his face presumably purported to project emotions evoked by the music.
ОтветитьYou don‘t to have to be a genius player to state that this was a very sloppy, coarse, even unmusical performance. I cannot believe that this should be the famous Elliot Fisk!
ОтветитьBy golly I think he’s still got it, the , Speed, only.
Segovia would be choking in a master class with this student.
Man is a force in the raw nature, he plays with the race of what he gives, and who is criticizing is because he did not understand the proposal of this concert
Ответитьtoo fast, terrible sound on bass notes, sounds like he is punching guitar
ОтветитьThis man should only teach.
He is multilingual, educated at
a scary level and a fantastic
historian. In 1983 I met Mario
Maccaferri and he spoke to me
in awe of Fisk's Paganini but
said his tension and facial
expressions needed checking.
The only cd I could not stand
was the one with Frescobaldi
played with this brutal style.
Speed and expression only go
together in rare cases, usually
you get one or the other, when
they meet you are witnessing
genius. Some of the beautiful
passages heard here show his
artistic side. His wonderful wife and daughter should help
him relax and bare his soul.
Sin alma.... parece robot
ОтветитьEmotionless and brutal
Ответитьin church they only sing the voice!!! everything created by the hands of man is an abomination in the eyes of God. he was punished He can’t do anything, he can’t create idols for himself, he needs to play his own and not in church but to his friends and family
Ответитьde Falla...best performance I've ever heard. Outstanding! Bravo Mr. Elliott Fisk. So beautiful.
ОтветитьAnti- melodic noise
ОтветитьGreat performance, Thank you. As a would be classical guitar player who finds committing pieces to memory difficult, it cheers my heart to see you referring to the score. Andy
ОтветитьOlmamış
ОтветитьMagnifique interprétation du « Encore » rappel! Bravo!
Ответитьwhy does he needs the score! My God!
Ответитьno
Ответитьspare me
ОтветитьWow Really Good. I have an old classial guitar an Alvorez It sounds just like yours But I can not nearly play as good as you really Good
I love Shenedoa !! I can play this one ! Sounds Great !
I fined it very difficult to listen to this concert and find it very unsatisfying musically.
I don’t like the harshness of his playing especially when playing a double top guitar which not sweet to begin with . Has Mr Fisk not heard of dynamics and musicality ? He’s playing so rapidly and harshly with his numerous errors . He should listen to Ali Arango . This was very hard for me to write as I don’t like leaving negative reviews . Andres Segovia would have ripped him to shreds . Not for me .
Champion guitarist! I'd say a modern guitar hero. The difficulty of this program only shows his courage and commitment to the music and the instrument. Bravo Mr. Fisk!!!
ОтветитьI think, he hates the guitar, He should make another job. Anarchy in rythm and sound .
Ответитьwhat's with the hole at the top of the guitar?
ОтветитьGreat musician
ОтветитьThis man is the one of the few classical guitarist that can make old music interesting to listen to and not just about a boring technique marathon
ОтветитьNo good
ОтветитьI remember years ago hearing him on the radio playing the Paganini Capriccios…..couldn’t believe the technique…..went out immediately and purchased the CD.
ОтветитьThank you for sharing something hopeful.
ОтветитьAfter all these years he still needs to read from sheet music? The heart should come before the brain.
Ответитьایشون طبق تصاویر بدون دست گیتار می زنه
ОтветитьNo notes are taken prisoner when Fisk plays them. When he gets his guitar "stink face" on the performance becomes intense.
ОтветитьBrother's music stand is the ottoman 😭😭😭
ОтветитьSounds like a banjo.
Ответитьterrible
ОтветитьOutstanding!
Ответитьit sounds like a man who love the world so much.intensily
ОтветитьJust amazing
ОтветитьHis style isn't for everyone but his vision for his own sound is remarkable. Threading that fine line between uptight strictness and uncontrollable passion.
ОтветитьIncredible ,anyone who can talk this down is a totalplebiscite 😊
ОтветитьI started with bert weedons play ina day book ,no contest 😢
ОтветитьTop that eric 😂😂😂
Ответить"The king is naked! Eliott, back off! You have the licks but no heart. . . .You're a terrible guitarist and worse musician. Why don't you stop trying to impress everybody with brute force and instead, play music? You don't listen to, and you don't hear beauty--listen to the composer. You're the same but worse than when you played for me when you were 14 years old and we were in Aspen. (Listen to Cristina Galietto!) The clatter and crash of your attack is offensive. Technical freedom should lead to subtly and beauty, not noise.
ОтветитьWhat a strange interpretation of Bach’s cello suite. I suffered through the Prelude, but stopped listening after a few bars of the Allemande. I had heard of this player but had never heard him play. Sorry, but I found it terribly disappointing.
ОтветитьHe has kind of a "tight" style. But it gives him his original sound. I had the pleasure of seeing him in Portland Or.
ОтветитьAn early inspiration upon picking up classic guitar in 1992. First amazement, the 'caprices'.
ОтветитьIs there a way to unhear the cello suite? Bizarre performance in my opinion…
ОтветитьA sloppy interpretetion, as always.
ОтветитьI met him in the mid 70’s. Brilliant talent, and kind then as now.
ОтветитьI just respect the hell out of another musician who can blow a note in the first 10 measures or so, and then just say "screw it, moving on." I was absolutely dreadful in recital, and wouldn't have survived that.
