Bikers say 'tar snakes' make for dangerous conditions on the roads

Very dangerous this needs to stop

They use the sealant on cracks that are just TOO WIDE for that type of repair in Nevada. They are everywhere. The sealant sinks in the middle, then you have an extra slick grove to get captured in, in your direction of travel. But the worst is the tar snakes in corners where you cross them more perpendicular, have less tire footprint on the road, and are accelerating.

Those overweight machines are not motorcycles. Those are trucks on two wheels. If you need to bring all that crap with you, just take the car. Problem solved.

Down here in Atlanta they are everywhere and a good 3/8” thick, hot gooey death trap.

Those tar snakes are death traps for motorcyclists. When it's hot they compress like soft foam and you can crash immediately from crossing over one of them.

The issue is hot weather. They turn to grease and you have zero traction.

I've had a few butthole pucker moments on tar snakes myself

Very dangerous.Ive hit them twice this year and slid,very easy to loose control when u hit them,and unfortunately they are everywhere in ny state. does anybody know if having new tires on your bike would effect it more?
