His white of the eyes turned yellow. Seems he got serious liver damage. Stop drinking, stop smoking, and do exercise a little bit. Your body is yours.
Ответить'...and we need it, for Dutch courage..,' no we don't, it is disturbing when the media propagate the myth. For many socialising is the pub.
During lockdown I continued socialising through zoom in various groups I was involved with.
At the end of the meeting we had a drink. On a couple of occasions I opened another beer only for people to begin leaving. I was left with a bottle of beer that I didn't even want and binned it.
Since lockdown I hardly ever drink and have found other means than alcohol to enjoy myself.
poor guy, sick, jaundiced and didn’t do anything outside of the norm
ОтветитьThis man is lying about the extent of his drinking.
Ответитьthe strage part is nobody is talking about what it does to the brain. Thats the worst of the lot by far.
ОтветитьThat’s it no more booze for me
ОтветитьI enjoy 2 to 3 glasses of wine a day with supper. My blood work always come back perfectly normal. I also workout 5 days a week and practice intermittent fasting. Wine is one of my favourite pleasures in life.
ОтветитьThe jaundice is insane to see on video, you'd think the video isn't colour corrected but it's just the liver dysfunction.
Ответить35 units a week is not a casual drinker. That's 2.5x the recommended guidelines not including what sounded like a lot of binge drinking in his twenties. I think most people would think of casual drinking as meaning a glass of wine a day, maybe two sometimes, which would be only about 15 a week.
ОтветитьWho would believe this man😂😂 he definitely drink more than he says
ОтветитьThere's a load of psychology behind this. Life is stressful. Having a few drinks is a distraction for it all. Multiply that with having fun with your mates creates an environment where you don't want to admit there's anything wrong. People enjoy it. Over time it wraps itself around you and you don't know anything else. You may feel a little rough in the morning but it's nothing you can't get over with a few coffee's. You're no different than most people you know. Maybe you know that 'one guy' who 'really' drinks too much, passing out legless all the time. You use this as a measure against yourself, to tell yourself you're not the one with the problem. You just have a few to unwind, to sleep well.
This was me. Then I realized I couldn't just go to sleep without having a few....hard to admit that it's become a problem. Once you do...I started really wondering about my liver - especially as I'm now 52. I'm now 29 days without a drop...plan on that for a while.
Weather.
ОтветитьWhy does he slur like Barney Gumble if not an alcoholic?
ОтветитьI am 20 years sober this week.
ОтветитьHe looks jaundiced
ОтветитьQuit drinking after 20 years of hangover... Very easy
Ответить"Not an alcoholic" - drinks everyday. If you drink out of habit, you're an alcoholic. I don’t understand why they say people dying from alcohol related liver diseases aren't alcoholics.
ОтветитьHow does this happen? Did this guy just never go to the doctors and get a blood test? Like ever?
ОтветитьBooze plus the clot shots equals no fun again if that was your bag 😢
ОтветитьErm he's been on alot more than 2 beers a day to go that yellow at 43, he's lying to himself and the doctors
ОтветитьI get so fed up of people telling us what to do leave us alone & just get on with your own life!
ОтветитьBeen sober since 18 from booze. I'm now 50. Growing up around family and the effects it had was enough for me to quit. Horrible stuff.
ОтветитьI quit drinking years ago. I was up to 21 drinks per week. Booze killed my father. It's in my genes or something. Some of my cousins have quit and some are still active.
Ответитьi dont care what he did in his 20's this wont happen unless you have a genetic problem or your lying and still drink like a fish. Isnt this mis dis or mal information under britans new tyranical laws?
ОтветитьUnless you have some serious genetic disease, you're not getting a level of liver disease so severe that you have jaundice and are dying from binge drinking in your 20s and steady drinking in your 30s. I know people who have drsnk for decades and can easily drink three bottles of wine a day and aren't this bad. Alcohol is severely damaging, but to get to this stage you have to really push it as far as it goes for many decades. Either this guy has some congenital problem or he has been drinking severely more heavily than he states, or some other drugs have destroyed his liver also.
ОтветитьUnless you have some underlying problem, somebody is lying about having 2 beers a night & alcoholic liver disease at 43. It's possible he could have NAFLD combined with ALD, where a combination of excess sugar & alcohol.
The idea that there is suddenly an epidemic of men in their early 40's suddenly getting ALD from 2 beers a night is ridiculous.
We should stop judging. You’re just lucky not to have an addictive personality. It’s not you being superior. I don’t like the taste of alcohol, but I smoked a lot but gave that up - hard, hard.
Ответить"Derek isn't an alcoholic he 😊only drank like the rest of us"
A couple of cans every day isn't what most people do. A couple of cans every day is boaderline alcoholic
Stay pink bro ❤
ОтветитьMy daughter just died last Sunday at the age of 38 years old from Alcoholic Cirrhosis!
ОтветитьWow boy is he ever yellow
ОтветитьTwo cans of lager a night, I doubt it
ОтветитьHow is derik now, did he get his transplant
ОтветитьWhat's one mans meat is another mans poison.
Cut the BS.
I was a weekend alcoholic. Quit drinking in 1990. People who apply peer pressure are not your friends.
Ответитьwe drink alot in the uk because we all depressed, why else?
Ответить“In England alone” shows the temple bar in Dublin, Ireland. When are you Brits going to let go???
ОтветитьGamblers never reveal how much they lose...
ОтветитьI like the taste of it! 🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьAbsolute BS.
Two cans a night in the week and one or two bottles of wine on weekend?!
Hahaha hahah
Its quite alarming how little people know about the dangers of Alcohol.
ОтветитьQuit 61/2 yrs ago and not a drop. There is more to this than just alcohol, OTC pain meds and diet (GMO Foods) play significant roles, I would know, I am the victim.
ОтветитьHow is this know to be strictly tied to just alcohol ?????
ОтветитьI am from india and i hate living in india so much that i don't even care if i die. It would be the best day of my life when that happens. This really dosent scare me at all. Moving to another country is not a option for me because that requires a lot of money and i can't afford to do that.
