India and it's culture cannot be understood easily and I don't blame these misunderstanding people have from Pakistan.. or for that matter foreigners.

India that is Bharath is a very strong nation and bonding across the religion, castes at national level is easily missed by outsiders. Militarily India's restrain and empathy and respect for life and rules of engagement is misunderstood as weak force.

There maybe small fault lines in pockets no one can take advantage of it.

Islam will not survive. Beyond another 50-60 years as it appears with a large section of Muslims left Islam in Many countries like India, Iran, Turkey, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Morrocco, USA etc. How Pakistan will bind its people with Islam as Religion. In India 20% of Muslims have left Islam and many of them Gradually moving towards Hinduism. Many Ex-Muslims in Iran moving towards Zoroastrians. There are many Indo-Iranian Couples with Iranian Girls and their parents jumping to have Hindu Boys as Husbands / Son-in-laws. Hindus started controlling U.S.A due to their high level of education. Pakistan is also suffering due to very low level of Intellectual Capability of its population due to poor level of education and with large population of Illiterate people who are liability to a nation.

Very good discussion. Pakistan wants India to restore Article 370 ( which was temporary in nature), whereas India removed 370 for the overall development of Kashmir and to eliminate militancy and the objective is achieved as can be seen. Getting economic benefit out of normalisation of trade is not their priority. Religion alone cannot unite a country. There are other factors too, for example ethnicity, language, culture etc. East Pakistan was separated within 25 years from formation of the country on the basis of religion. It is time for Pakistan to concentrate on economic development and stop injecting hatred in the minds of the young generation which in turn generated jihadi elements or else the country may disintegrate further.
